Tesco Extra

Tesco is a great shopping experience, with room for a WAV (wheelchair-accessible vehicle) to park without issue. They also provide baskets that can be attached to a wheelchair. The food is very fresh, or at least appears to be. The occasional piece of produce has a short shelf life, but I dig a bit further in the bin to find one with a longer lifespan. This is so simple, but it is just a bit time-consuming.
I love using Tesco Extra it has everything you could need to purchase in a superstore, with those special extras you never knew you could never be without!!!!

For a big store, this has a friendly staffed shop. Helpful and never experienced rudeness .

I was first shoping in tesco 1989,the cafe was at the right side from the entrance. Many guests, most elderly customers, and young women with their children like i ' m with my wife. At beginning the holidays and the last day in Britain we where in the tesco in dover. Parking, perfekt,friendly stuff, answers for every questions. Prices and Quality very Good.Last visit, Oktober 2023.all in the family like the tesco.

Millie was rly helpful this morning on self service checkouts and the lady with her with short hair. Tesco need to make the tills so they are cash and card as only two tills open that took cash ? And cause a big queue of people who’s ere paying cash

Everything you need is available under one roof. Prices are amazing. Staff is sooper helpful and always kind. World food items are also available here. Cafe is amazing for having some breakfast tea or coffee. Clothing section is amazing as well. Vision express also adds more to the easily accessible facilities of this Tesco extra store. Parking space is also huge and there is also a bus stop just at the corner of it to take you from Tesco to Whitfield or town center and many more places. Highly recommend to shop every life necessity at one place.

Delivering that Tesco Extra experience ❤

Just recieved my delivery which I ordered early hours of this morning so very prompt service and with everything present and correct as have had issues with other well known supermarkets. All items with great dates on them too. I also wanted to say thank you to the driver who was friendly and polite and recieved my order early in which I was very pleased with. Will order again regularly. Chamberlain rd Dover.

Had a problem the other day where the cashier didn’t take payment from a voucher so when we thought we were paying the remainding balance we in fact had paid for our entire shop. Spoke to customer services and after going through a few members of staff a general manager (Jo) was more than helpful and resolved the problem in minutes :)

Lovely staff at Tesco Whitfield always pleasant and helpful even when really busy. In these times of virus's may be a good idea if they have access to hand gels on their counters and gloves as they are handling transactions disposable gloves are really cheap and can be bought in bulk .

Huge superstore in Whitfield near Dover with ample parking provided by huge car park situated right outside the front of the store and situated over in the far corner of the car park is a vehicle cleaning service so if you want to you can leave your vehicle to be cleaned whilst you shop and collect it once finished shopping which is reasonably priced and the convenience of getting your car cleaned whilst you shop is fantastic and good value for money. There's also a fuel supply filling station situated right next to the superstore with it's own access by filtering into correct lane when entering the premises which offers diesel and petrol fuel options and is always priced at one of the best costs per litre compared to other filling stations in the Dover district and I recently discovered that if you are lucky enough to have obtained enough points to be converted into vouchers you can pay for your fuel using any clubcard vouchers that are valid and enforceable. I found this extremely useful and beneficial for the times that you need to get some fuel but might be tight with cashflow. I used 2 X £5 clubcard vouchers and put £10 petrol in my car and its made a difference considering I didn't actually spend any money!

My first experience of click and collect. Congratulations worked like clockwork, order available only one substitution but most of all happy, polite staff. In and out in 3 mins without breaking the 2.mtr rule. THANK YOU

Huge Tesco store with plenty of variety. Not just food they have clothing, home, pharmacy, phone, opticians etc. There's also a café, which I haven't tried but always smells great and looks busy!

Ready to get on a cross channel ferry and relised that I had left some of my medication at home.
The Pharmacy department were very helpful and contacted my doctors, then issued the reguired medication without any fuss.

Good parking although it gets very busy. Well laid out shop floor. Very nice cafe upstairs. Staff are helpful and polite and always ready to help
