BOOK AN APPOINTMENT! If you are going to buy shoes you need to book in advance, I didn’t realise but as I phoned to make sure they were open I was lucky enough to get a time slot.

The lady that assists in shoe fittings is only there on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The one person I saw was extremely helpful and I got exactly what I needed.

This is not a conventional shop so be sure to know exactly what you need before going - there is not a shop to browse, they go and get what you request from a storeroom.

I can only speak for the tap shoes I bought but they were very good value.

I am so happy with the ballroom shoes I brought from here today. I rang in the morning and managed to get an appointment on the same day. The two ladies that helped me were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
I hate buying shoes as I need a wide fit and have an ingrowing toenail, nothing seems to fit me quite right. The ladies were very knowledgeable and so helpful. They had loads of styles and sizes to try on so I was able to get the perfect fit and most importantly to me a comfortable fit. I can’t wait to dance in them. Thank you ladies you made my day. I visited the Freed outlet at Blaby today and had such a wonderful experience! Gaynor and Helen were brilliant and took time to advise me and try on 23 (I think, I lost count!) pairs of ballroom shoes. I finally settled on the right pair and was awarded as much time as I needed to choose. They were both lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. I hope Freed is aware of what fantastic staff they have at the Blaby outlet. Many many thanks Gaynor and Helen - you've made my day !

dance shoes you could want and all made here with the attention to detail that comes from such a long standing quality name. Customer service is excellent thank you to Gaynor for your time and patience and helping me find my perfect fit. 🥰
