Best independent pet shop in Cambridge! Richard and Julie (owners) are superb and it will be the only place I would buy from for my pets, because nothing is too much trouble! 10/10 service, honesty & advice!

I have been a customer of Grumpy’s Pet shop for a good 15 years! Richard and Julie aren’t just staff working in a shop - I’m touched every week by their upbeat aura, exceptional knowledge and actual love for their customers! This is the best pet shop around and what’s more - it’s local and independent! I’ve met people in that shop who have travelled from a different county just to buy from this Cambridge pet shop - now that speaks volumes!!!

The products are real quality but totally affordable and there's a great range too. The people are lovely and genuinely helpful. It's actually the best pet shop I've ever been to.

Excellent shop: great quality products, from food to toys to grooming. You can tell that everything in the store has been selected with remarkable care and consideration. My dog has loved the food and chews in particular. The staff were very generous with their time in helping me select chews that didn’t include my dog’s allergens. I also implicitly trust in the quality of the chews. My dogs fur is softer and healthier than ever since we shopped at grumpy’s. It’s a very special store, even one of a kind in my experience. Glad to have the opportunity to shop there.

I seem to have posted the wrong review for Grumpys so am now posting the correct one. The pet supplies shop is great, full of things that pet owners need. I pop in from time to time for wild bird food and treats for my friends dog. Helpful staff and a clean, tidy and well ordered shop with a talking ( or at least noisy) bird.

Grumpy's is a superb pet shop. They stock good quality products and we have been getting our dog Alan's food from them for a good while.

Over the last few months Alan has had a poorly stomach, they have given lots of advice and suggestions to help solve this (he had also been checked by a vet to make sure nothing untoward was happening).

We struck gold when they launched brand new, own brand, dog food! Not only is Alan's digestion better (than it has ever been) but his fur is now unbelievably soft and he adores the food. He gets very grumpy if we are late with his dinner now! We bought the biggest bag available today. Thank you so MUCH!

Our local shop, not just great products and service, but also trusted advice. We had to fly our dog to another country, which comes with a maze of requirements. Richard provided great advise, and made the process easy as pie. Thank you Grumpy's!

We always get our pet food from grumpies because its their own brand and very good. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and help with anything required.

We used Grumpy’s pet sitting service for our three guinea pigs while we were away for a long weekend. Jason was brilliant! We came home to three satisfied little pigs and everything was left neat and tidy, his communication was also excellent keeping us up to date with how they were doing after each visit. Thank you!

I was already a big fan of the shop but wanted to recommend the pet-sitting service as well. I came back from a ten day trip to find a happy, well-fed cat and Grumpy's did a great job communicating what happened while I was away.

Lady was very helpful, and puppy loved toy she suggested.

I walked in there with no clue as to what i needed and they were really great at helping me get everything i needed for my new puppy and gave me great advice on nutrition etc

Excellent service and always very helpful when purchasing anything for our dog food . Would highly recommend to anyone unsure of any dietary requirements for your dog too. Also purchased a new collar to stop dog pulling when out walking- worked first time-it's now a pleasure to walk dogs with this special collar/lead. Many thanks to Grumpy's.

I first went to Grumpy's because they carry the top-quality brand of cat food I buy. They sell it for virtually the same price as I can buy it online from the manufacturer, and carry all of the flavour combinations. I discovered their amazing cat-sitting service and have used them 5 or 6 times to look after Mack when we go away, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Reliable, trustworthy, even going the extra mile to clean up the dead mice and cat sick! Grumpy's, you're a star!
