SPAR Aberdaron

Another fantastic SPAR store.
Great wine and beer selection, huge bakery selection and a fridge full of local pies, pasties and cakes. It's perfect

Wonderful staff very polite and helpful, don't understand what the English driving licence holder is in about. Probably a snowflake

This is a very good local shop with a nice river running next to it where often there is a heron on top of the roof this is a good feature of the shop as it attracts the customer and visitors to the area. The shop sells everything that you might need so it’s very good for this local community it also has a post office inside it. Surrounding the shop is lots of restaurants so after that you can go and get some alcohol and drink it on the campsite that if you are camping.

Good range of items for a small village.

Bit on the small side but had what we wanted,compact is the word

No Thatcher's Blood Orange for two days on the trot. Simply not acceptable...

Little more than an overpriced bargain booze these days. More than half the shelf and floor space given over to alcohol. The other half overpriced groceries and limp vegetables.

Recently refurbished Spar general store but very, very expensive and exploiting its monopoly position and the fact the nearest big supermarket is in Pwllheli. Staff could learn to smile too. £2.35 for a loaf, £1.99 for 4 pints of milk, £1.79 for tunnocks chocolate bars that are normally £1.00, and to really rub it in chocolate digestives actually stamped RRP £1.75 on sale for £2.25! Do your shopping before you come away or at ASDA in Pwllheli and save yourself a fortune and from being ripped off.

No Alcohol, ??? They don't sell it.
