Kampus General Store

Great to see Kampus General Store open! Well done to Mital and he team for working to make a beautiful welcoming space!

I tried the BOHEE tea and toast today!

Best Polish honey beer i have tasted in a while, makes me feel at home- also, incredible homemade desserts :D i could die for the cheesecake

Lovely unique finds there for snacks and drinks. Such friendly members of staff too!

The staff is friendly however I can't say helpful. I like the aesthetic of the store. The store has some ready to eat food but when you ask the coffee shop to heat it up (it's rice so you have to or else it's bad), they say that they are not affiliated with the store...(Why couldn't they do each other a favour) They are in the store, Google maps has them both as one entity, yet they say that, it just sounds petty.

Unfortunately most things but basic necessities are over-priced, so I can't recommend it for anything more than basic items.

For example, coop mayo is 90p normally, here it costs as of this day 2.29 pounds which is what the more expensive ones are priced at.

Nice vibe overall, but that’s pretty much it.

The store: Pricey, too high of a mark up, and sometimes the price tags shown and what you are paying at the counter are inconsistent. Staff are ‘friendly’ however, not very helpful/flexible. a lot of the time give off ‘oh we don’t do that’, ‘that’s not our job’ kind of feeling.
