SPAR - Rhos-On-Sea

With it's village centre location and opening hours up to late at night this is a good convenience store. Have always found well stocked for what expect to find here, off licence has a decent selection of drinks, hot coffee available to take away and usually manage to find on street parking very close by.

Staff are always friendly and happy to help, I feel like they've dealt with the current circumstances well. The store is always well stocked and they have a good variety of items.

I have used Spar Store for years and have always found the staff more than helpful and very kind to an old lady-I wouldn't shop anywhere else and highly recommend them. Thank you, Spar!

Everything is well stocked, the staff are often quite friendly and helpful, and the store looks great since it was renovated. The price is obviously not as great as supermarkets, but the quality is often better.

It's better then the ones in West Midlands. Well done

The Costa coffee machine was good. The prices inshore were expensive.

Store apparently opens at 8am according to google, Sign in the window states from 6.30am!! anyway the shutters and doors weren't open until gone 8.10am. Even the delivery driver was outside shaking his head. I only wanted a newspaper and they hadn't even bothered to get them ready, so I waited over 10 minutes for nothing, nearly making myself late for work. Absolute Rubbish!!!!!

Rude lady on the till. I am local and have decided not to go back to this store due to her rudeness on several occasions.
She also refuses to take Collect + returns that are within the size limit stated.
Unpleasant.

Parcel tracking shows delivered to store, staff expect you to search through a large cage of parcels to find your own, no parcel - claim parcel has been returned to courier but can't provide evidence of this - avoid if you want to receive your parcels!

I was very shocked and alarmed to be ordered to present my medical exemption card in order to be served without a face mask. I told the Oriental gentleman that often works there that no such card exists and that my medical history is private information that I do not have to divulge to him. He told me not to come back again unless I'm carrying my card. I went to coop over the road and was greeted with a smile by the cashier who did not unlawfully demand to know my medical history. I will not shop at Rhos on Sea Spar ever again. It is also a very untidy shop.

Rude staff and horrible store layout. No sense of social distancing and arrows round the shop make no sense at all. I don’t know how spar are funding this store which is so below par with all their other stores I’ve visited! Go to the co op across the street instead! Lovely shop and atmosphere!

A few days ago I noticed on the counter protective masks were being sold for £2 . They were the most basic type and very expensive . Today my son told me they are now £6 each . This is pure greed and profiteering at a time of national crisis . I will never step foot in that shop again .

Another rip off merchant selling hand sanitizer for nearly £13 a bottle during these difficult times .
A shop to avoid for the future I think !
