Always my first stop when looking for gifts fornthe old man, all your whiskey and needs in one shop, not sure about wine but on whiskey if Geoff doesnt know then you dont need to either. They even do live tastings at their Ranmoor shop.

Excellent little wine shop with a good selection of spirits and an admirable selection of beers with an ever changing selection of German beers. The staff know their stuff and, so far, have never made an error in a recommendation.

Probably the best shop in Sheffield. Full of great stuff, a lot of which you'll struggle to get hold of in the UK at all, let alone elsewhere in Sheffield. The owners and staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you like high quality booze, of every kind, this is THE place to go.

This is an excellent wine and spirits emporium with a remarkable selection of gins. They regularly have as many as 70 gins available to taste. I have bought both wine and gin here and have never been disappointed. Also a bergamot flavoured liqueur which is remarkable. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Will return here frequently.

What a wonderful shop! Went in to find a special bottle of tequila for my nephew’s 21st - the guy there couldn’t have been more helpful. Really knowledgeable and clearly passionate about all things agave 😊

It's really nice to have an expert recommend a wine for you, even if your budget is £8! Spending a little extra here, other whatever is on offer in the supermarket is well worth it.

I went to the shop on Fulwood Road where it still possible to browse. The shop assistant knows the wines very well and helped me to pick a selection of both red and white for Christmas. I've not tasted the wine yet but I have no doubt they will be good and excellent service.

Had an absolutely superb experience here. When I arrived I noticed that the store was sectioned off so that you couldn't look around and had to order from the counter they set up at the front. Their Covid measures were incredibly safe and all staff were wearing masks.

When I got to the counter I gave a rough description of what I was after as well as a price range. One of the two gentleman serving gave me a comprehensive and detailed description of 4 products he recommended that matched my description. He also knocked down the price of something for me to fit my price range without me asking which was extremely generous. Couldn't be happier with the service I received and will be returning again in the future.

well presented shop with helpful knowledgeable staff,maybe they stock some whisky you've not heard of? be sure to visit 'the dram shop' as well about 5 mins away while you're in the area.

Sorry guys, my pocket gave you a one star review (now amended) not me! Starmoreboss have the best selection of alcohol in Sheffield, often having things that are only available in a handful of places in the whole of the UK. The stock is high quality, and the advice from the expert staff is always spot on. There's always something interesting on tasting, and they're happy to discuss any requirements you might have. Look out for tasting evenings run by Jeff or Barry in pubs in Sheffield like the Blake, they are brilliant, but sell out quickly!

Great place with an excellent range of gin,whiskey, wine, beer etc on offer. Jeff and Barry are really knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations and tastings. Highly recommend this place never been disappointed with anything we have bought!
