If you have young children, Lidl is the best shop to buy nappies and wipes. It's the cheapest in the UK for me.

December 2023 update:
The shopping baskets are back!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Decent stock, great staff, and now normal shopping baskets again: five-star shopping experience. Thank you, Lidl.

Previously: Lidl on Chesterfield Road, Sheffield was always five-star for me... until they ditched shopping baskets. Why?? The available 'baskets' (actually mini-trollies) are cumbersome, too deep to reach into comfortably, and clutter the aisles horribly. Now people wander the aisles with precarious (small!) piles of goods. They, and I, would buy MORE if shopping baskets came back.

Nice retail store with pocket friendly prices. Pleasant staff as well.

Good Lidl better then the town center branch

Good prices with a basic range and some premium products. Can get congested when staff are restocking, but has a high turnover of stock. Plenty of extra parking if you drive through to the end past the chemist, overlooking Chesterfield Rd. On a main bus route.

Fantastic, hardworking, helpful and always friendly staff with honest values. We love love the food products. We appreciate the lovely staff and admire how they always seem to manage their busy workload with cheerful patience, making appropriate time for everyone. Thank you lovelies! Perfect shopping experience, well laid out store great value for money

Great store, I usually go for the chicken thighs since they are quite cheap here and are pretty good. Still have the odds hairs on though which you will have to remove. If you don't have meat in your diet then Lidl is just as cheap as other places and the meat substitutes are lacking here compared to Tesco or Asda. Lidl isn't usually don't get as big as a Tesco or Asda either.

Forgot to pick some bits up at another shop so popped into here this morning. Wow saved well over a fiver. Will definitely be going back again.

Always love Lidl's bakery section. made this granola with low sugar granola, coconut yogurt and blueberries from Lidl, tastes amazing.
