Called in at the weekend, first time in probably 20 years since moving and it was an absolute pleasure. Still as helpful, courteous, friendly and professional as I remember and the great reviews state. All at great value. Really glad I made the trip across Sheffield, well worth it.

Cannot recommend Richardson’s highly enough. Their cutting service has been invaluable and they are always so friendly, helping carry to the car. A treasure trove of DIY supplies to boot!

Needed a bespoke bit of skirting board. They were able to make it as requested at a very reasonable price. Very pleased especially given that I contacted multiple local carpenters with no success.

As usual, Richardsons went above and beyond today. Nothing is too much trouble for their Staff, which is why I use them as first call, despite other hardware chains being nearer.
For, I think the first time ever, they didn't have exactly what I needed today, but rather than sell me a (lot) more expensive workaround, they recommended a nearby supplier where I did get what I needed.
And THAT, is why I'll be back at Richardsons next time!

A gem of a shop
Received very friendly customer service, bought skirting board and paint at a decent price. The visit has inspired me to do more DIY in the house, specially as I can get wood cut to size!

This place is like a tardis, goes right back and loads of stock with woodyard out back, very helpful and good prices.

Great guys and gals, really helpful. Well stocked with wide range of useful items. Good timber stock in back cut to length as you wait, knowledgeable about products. Traveled from S12 to get the things i needed, will be using again.

Have visited this No.1 shop since I was a child for rabbit sawdust, although health and safety has altered somewhat, their level of service has not. Staff advise well, will make recommendations and genuinely strive to provide a good service. During the Coronovirus crisis, they have been there throughout and our community will not forget their commitment, so thank you.

This small DIY shop has everything that you won't get in places like B&Q plus you don't have to buy 10 if you only want a couple. Helpful staff & very good prices. As a general handyman I love these kind of establishments.

Richardson's DIY is a brilliant shop that caters for everything from a door hinge to a drain pipe with its own wood shop and friendly knowledgeable staff this is a hardware store as they used to be fantastic quality and service I can highly recommend them an often do.

A superb local DIY & hardware store, stocking tools, decorating supplies, timber (cut to length on site) and gardening items. The store looks small, but stock is up to the ceiling making it incredibly versatile with expert customer support from the knowledgeable staff.

Perfect! They cut wood bars and sheets in minutes, perfect quality, very good prices. That's my new favorite shop! :)

Had to queue but understandable given Covid. Staff were really helpful, one stop for all that I needed as ever. Being relatively new to Sheffield this place was a great find and great to put money into a local business.

Always there to deliver a service for all DIY needs. Not many of these customer served businesses left, the bespoke wood supply and cutting service is second to none. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Love this DIY store, from keys cut, timber, screws and paint, compose and much more. Well priced that's why it's still firth park favourite shop after all these years.

Went to buy some 18mm plywood, and was cut to the exact size, no fuss, no long waiting, staff are really friendly, has many if not all items needed for any DIY or building projects, as well as household items.
