The best pet shop in town! Unbelievably helpful with advice and recommendations- can highly recommend them. Fantastic raw food options.

The staff here are wonderful they helped me with understanding the expectations of my puppies and gave advise on products to assist in hand rearing 5 pommeranian new born as mother unable to feed them,well done all the staff there

An outstanding pet supplies store with some specialist foods and supplements as well as your everyday supplies for pets of all shapes and sizes, all the foods seem to be on offer , both wet and dry. All the other pet supplies you can want from dishes to beds and most anything you can want . The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. In my opinion it beats the big chains hands down .

I was advised by the vet to buy my dog a cone while his wound healed. I call the store to make sure you had the products I wanted in stock and spoke too a lovely girl called Maddy who took the time to go and look to make sure you had the right size . Once in the store Maddy again was great she took me to where I needed to be and helped me check that the cone was the right size and showed me the other products I may need. The other girl was busy with another customer but took the time to say hello and fussed my dog. It's the first time I have been to Cooke's but won't be the last based on today's experience. Oakley isn't too happy with my purchase but it's for his own good 💙

Regular Customer. Great range of products, prices are generally reasonable, the staff are pleasant and helpful. Car park is quite small and can be a little tight at busy times, but is fine 90% of the time. The customers are generally a really nice bunch, there's always dogs to meet in here!
(Edit May 2024: I've removed reference to understaffing as I haven't seen that in a long time now. Also added a star as we've had a number of really positive experiences where staff have been super-helpful with accommodating our nervous new rescue and helping with discontinued product alternatives.)

I thought I'd check this place out where I was in town and it's amazing. Got the dog a selection of their natural treats which she loved. Great selection.

Open 7 days, good selections of pet foods. A large store to browse around. None pushy staff. Nice loyalty card scheme on selected Dog foods. I have been using these for years and do not buy my pet supplies anywhere else. Ample parking in front of the building. Walking distance from the Rotherham Train station and RotherhamTown Center.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of items to look at and choose from. Got a lovely waterproof coat for our Bella, at a reasonable price too. Thank you to the staff for making her feel welcome by giving her a few treats. 🐶 Xx

Great store with a good selection of stuff for various pets including Cats, Dogs, Birds, reptiles and more. Staff are always friendly and acknowledge you as you browse.
