Lovely shop, very friendly to our kids, the woman working there was really nice. Great selection of items too. Very cute Chinese New Year window display.

Ordered a baby walker online. It was out of stock and delivery from the supplier took a long time but customer service from Mary-Jane was excellent. She was very courteous and helpful - kept us updated until the order was delivered. The Bajo Baby Walker was everything we expected. Perfect for our little one who is learning how to walk.

Went in for a browse, ended up buy Christmas and birthday presents for my grandchildren. I was given a whole range of options when I asked for help with a range of price points. Came away with some really lovely gifts that are unusual, so imaginative and not plastic tat. So happy I went in.

Beautiful store with carefully curated, unique toys and other items for babies and children. Lots of wooden, handmade things and no lurid plastic in sight! It’s expensive but worth it for a special gift. Staff were super friendly and knowledgable.

We entered Buttercup after being drawn to the beautiful window display.
There was a fantastic selection of toys, games, books and decorations for children.
I would recommend a browse if you’re looking for something special for curious children. We could have taken home half the shop if our budget allowed!

Visited this gorgeous shop today for the first time, filled with lots of beautiful bits and a really lovely selection of books. The lady working in the shop (assuming she was the owner) was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again soon 🤗

Agree with previous reviews, it's a toy shop that isn't meant to bring children into. I felt very unwelcomed with my very well-behaved 2.5 year old, being watched every second from the shop assistant. Very cute items, but totally unfriendly.

This has to be one of the most child unfriendly toy shops in the uk. The projected anxiety of walking in with a toddler from the shop assistant was one of the most unwelcoming experiences we’ve ever had. Being a new parent is tough enough, navigating boundaries etc let alone being told consistently not to touch the very tempting and in child’s reach dolls, children objects, wrapping paper and other baby related bits. This shop is not to be entered with children, it is inaccessible and intimidating, a wonderful treasure trove and cabinet of curiosities that leads young children into thinking it’s ok to try out. A suggestion would be to place everything on high shelves out of reach instead of entering with a toddler and constantly being told to put stuff down, sanitise my baby’s hands and only look. Fair enough it’s a pandemic but the sheer paranoia and moody confrontational vibes from the shop assistants is enough to not enter or visit again. Great shop, well curated however better to go without children as it feels like they aren’t allowed and welcomed.

Bad experience when looking around with my twin children and the owner watching every move we take making us feel uncomfortable with some rude comments thrown in. Dont open a toy shop if you dont like children touching the toys as my children were just excited
