I'd like to thank the kindness of the staff at Sainsbury's Local. Yesterday we spent the day at Whitstable, it was our beautiful little dog's birthday and it was getting close to her dinner time.
I asked for already cooked rice but it needed 2 mins in a microwave. The gentleman, out of the kindness of his heart, offered to go up to the staff room and heat the rice for me.
Not only did he do that with a big smile and willingness, he came back with a Birthday dog treat too for our Kizzy.
Thank you so much for going above and beyond the call of duty. I hope you receive staff member of the month and win the lottery. I wish I'd taken your name. 😘

limited selection obviously but still have all the essentials. Only issue, like all supermarkets, why does 40yo adult need to wait 5 minutes for a 18yo to verify he is over 18 to buy a energy drink?

Open late daily. Great perk especially on Sundays. Although just a local it receives a lot of footfall so can be quite busy and stocks can be dwindled
