Had exactly what I wanted - silver foil wrapping paper! A widely varied selection of other products and checkout was very quick. Of they don't have it in other places, there's a good chance you can get it here and cheaper! Ditto bird seed fat balls in another occasion - great price. Keep the MiL happy. She doesn't eat them but watches the birds! Plus scampi fried & bacon fries multipack this time.

What a big change in there now. Now they do clothes, chilled foods and lots of new offers, so much to choose from all for £1 or a bit more.

Who wouldn't like a Poundland. Kept open throughout the lockdown and always had bits and bobs. Likes bread and butter, milk, ham... So I didn't have to queue for ever in Sainsbury's. Love their opening hours as I can pop in there before work.

You can find essentials for home, toiletries, food, arts and craft stuff, decorations, gardening, dog food, cat food and many more at 1 pound. Perfect place for easy and cheap shopping... Everyone has visited this store at least once.

This is lovely if you're having a party, wanting to keep kiddies amused, indulge yourself or just plain Shop!! Now if you wanted to actually bump into he who wanders off, This is one of the best places to find him. The variety is amazing, the standards great and the staff Wonderful. They really are a treat. I went in as he who wanders off was coming up to a Huge, Huge birthday! One that makes all bra' people quake in their boots! I needed distraction, so as he hadn't wandered off I set him on finding suitable tablecloths, plastic being Banned in my house! I set off to the munchie department. May I just explain here, that he who wanders off has, over the years gone Deaf!! Not like my darling deaf/blind sister is deaf, the other sort of deaf! The if I don't Want to hear what you say You'll Think I'm deaf!! Well Mother Nature, who Hates to be challenged, has seen fit to punish him by making him...... DEAF! He actually gets hearing aids tomorrow!! Meanwhile we're at the stage of Him ignoring me and Me screaming his name every two minutes because, as I've said before, I can't walk properly and he wanders off with my crutches while I'm hanging onto a supermarket trolley, or leaves me with armful of produce, to turn round to find? Yep! He's vanished and So have all the carrier bags so I have to keep buying More! Point over! I found chocolate things, cheesy things, just plain scrumptious things and decanted them all into my huge wheeled trolley, then a lovely lady went off to find me Real Paper Straws!! I was thrilled to bits they had a brilliant alternative to the dreaded plastic! (even though they were in a plastic bag!!) you can't have Everything and it's a Great Start! I got Huge packs of napkins, strong paper plates, No plastic cutlery!! And a massive selection of goodies for £12!!!!!We came out with 2 Huge Plastic bagsful!!! I've actually found a dear lady who cuts them into strips and Knits them into er! shopping bags! At least in her 80s she's teaching Us how to recycle!! He who wanders off came out with a curly thing designed to do wonderful things with a fishing rod and 2 boxes if chicken oxo cubes? Don't ask!! He waited til we were back at his house before he told me he'd forgotten the tablecloths!!!!

Useful stuff, cheap prices

Always packed with great bargains. Light bulbs, batteries, mini battenburgs, and meal worms for the birds. Why pay more. Always friendly staff too.

Excellent customer service. The website states that the store is open 10-4 today (new years day)????

Aye, easy-peasy decent Poundland this.

They have some self-service checkouts which are useful and the products are as you'd expect.

It's a Poundland, what can I say? Everything is £1, almost everything anyway, the place is clean and tidy, staff are excellent (well done, can't be easy), no complaints at all. Does what it says on the tin.

Lots of lovely choices of differant products that peopke can afford

Never runs out even with all the panic buying.

Always great to pop into Poundland. It's my weekly treat, at the end of my walk to town, to stop by and browse for odds and ends!
