Lucy & Yak Cambridge

Although I was only in the store for adout 20 minutes the atmosphere was incredible and both of the people who served me were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome which is not something that happened often as a trans teen.
The clothes are also very comfortable and fit well and I'm overall satisfied with my experience

really lovely shop and atmosphere inside, the people who were on shift were extremely helpful and fantastic with how clothes should fit and really helped my mum and i with anything we needed!! i would highly recommend the company and shop just based off of this one experience… thank you <3 (also i bought some jeans and they are fantastic and really comfy i highly recommend getting some!!!!)

Went into the shop not knowing what to expect and wanting to try a jumpsuit on just to see how I feel in it. The team here have been incredibly lovely and friendly to me which helps when trying something more feminine and has led me to buying a jumpsuit.
People like Scott, Issy and Cory (hope spelling is right) deserve a big pay rise for being so genuine, welcoming and thoughtful whom have made my day.

What a delight to find a Lucy and Yak in Cambridge. Such funky styles, beautiful soft organic cottons and vouchers for pre-loved items. What's not to like. Izzy, Scott, Becky and Anna are so lovely; they make shopping such a pleasurable experience. Thanks so much all!

Visited today, and the service from Scott and Izzy was exceptional. Gave me time to try on as many items as I wanted, gave really good advice and no pressure to buy anything. Felt like I was on a personal shopping experience. Would definitely recommend visiting this store if you’re thinking of buying some yaks!

I travelled all the way from Germany and let me tell you, it was worth it 🤗 The shop is very cute and fun to shop in. I had a lot of fun with the staff. They helped you straight away and were just great I felt very comfortable. They made my day.🌸🫶🏼

I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Issy, Corey and Georgia who were so friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. I tried on lots of different styles, and nothing was too much for them- they were so patient and helped me find the dungarees that felt best for me. I will definitely shop here again.

Stumbled upon the shop after wanted to buy some L&Y Delores Jeans for a while, I hadn’t purchased online as I didn’t know what size fitted best. Had a look around the shop and found some on the Re-Yak rail, tried them on and they were perfect! The staff were so helpful and cheery, it really made the shopping experience a delight!

I've just been to the opening night at Lucy & Yak Cambridge. It's such a lovely shop. Colourful tidy layout, and super friendly and approachable staff who were so happy to help me find the perfect new jeans and jacket. I will definitely be back!

This shop can have 5/5 just on the fact as you walk in there is a table set up with stickers you can wear if you don't want any of the staff to ask if you need help. There are also signs around telling you about this as well. I just think it is AWESOME! More shops and spaces need to do this.
I think if it's great for those who find it overwelming with sounds and noises, others who find shopping itself overwhelming and honestly just the fact that sometimes you just want to browse without being sociable.
Bravo!

So helpful, so lovely! It was my first time being in a Lucy and yak store and I loved it! The team were amazing!

I regularly shop in mostly all of the Lucy and Yak locations...but by a million miles Cambridge is my most favourite! Every single person who works in this store are the most welcoming and kindest people ever! They take the time to get to know you and are always there to suggest some fricking slay outfits. Special shout-out to Corey!! Corey is one of the main reasons I keep coming back...never let them go!!! The clothes are great quality and sooo funky! I have never walked in to a Lucy and Yak store and left empty handed 😂. Best shop ever!!!!

First time shopping here and loved it! Really appreciated all the help from the staff especially Izzy and Scott. Everyone was lovely. Definitely come because the clothes are so stylish and unique.

Just shopped at the Cambridge store for the second time! The wonderful Issy was so so helpful and accommodating. I am hesitant shopping in real life as opposed to online but wanted to ask about a bigger size. She took the time to not only find out about what was in stock but found other alternatives of trousers, some I would never have considered. It’s quieter in the shop during the week, which was so so lovely as it meant I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Will be back! Thank you wonderful Cambridge team

Wonderful shopping experience, staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Took my daughter and her friend both find ‘normal’ clothes shops uncomfortable and they were completely in their element, beautiful, inclusive and safe space for them.

I love Lucy and yak and was really excited to visit the Cambridge branch! Today was their ‘Tuesday low sensory day’ and I usually get really anxious about having to possibly interact with the sales assistants in stores when they just come straight up to you, but on days like this they don’t come up to you unless you make it known you want assistance. It really helped make my shopping experience more enjoyable and stress free. The people working today were really nice and helped me figure out the style i liked and what would look best for my body type. Looking forward to going again soon :)

We found this super cute shop unexpectedly and were more than thrilled! Great unusual clothes and jumpsuits! We had a lot of fun, especially the two saleswomen Samy and Issy are very empathetic and accommodating. We had a lot of fun and it made our day!

First time yakker here! From the moment I came through the door, I was welcomed and felt like I had stepped into a community that I am so happy to now be part of. The shop layout was easy to navigate and the wall colours made me feel uplifted. The clothes themselves are wonderful - unique, flattering, comfortable and well-made and I love the ethos of the brand. The most important thing for me in any retail experience that will stick in my mind perhaps even more than the products themselves is the staff, and here the staff are incredible and so friendly - they really do go above and beyond. I was mostly helped today by Scott, who I can only wish was my friend! He was so kind, fun to talk to, informative about the clothes and patient(!) whilst I decided on different fits and colours and although I had come in store with a slightly different pair of dungarees in mind, he helped me choose some amazing denim ones which I feel really happy in. Even had I not bought anything, just being able to interact with such amazing people and was enough to put a massive smile on my face. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and I can’t wait to come back here!
