I spoke to a lady called Alison as I had an issue with a bbq gas bottle. Alison was fantastic and extremely helpful. Brilliant customer service and swift problem solving.

It was a very good experience the staff were very nice and the car park is big and adding electric car chargers

A staff member went around the shop to find the products I was looking for, really helpful

Had an issue with a purchase, Rob (Manager) and Sandra were incredibly helpful to resolve it. Sandra has been really helpful and knowledgeable regarding 'gas' bottles for barbecues. Great prices on barbecues currently.

Easy to get to plenty of parking and space to park, unlike B and Q. We were able to see and then purchase what we required.

Homebase has a nice variety of products, ranging from such thing's as sofas, chairs tables and even fencing and plants. However every time I have gone to the garden section, most of the plant are unfortunately dead but rhey do have a good range of plants available. They have a good range of ornaments for your garden such as gnomes and statues. They have a good section for tools and appliances.

Well organised shop with good range of products including tools, paint, timber, kitchens, bathrooms and gardening.

Easy to find. Well stocked & click & collect was ready within an hour.

Had a voucher there and I feel it totally worth it. Got everything I needed . Has a good layout and some of the articles are cheaper than other retailers. Definitely worths a peak. It is a big one with a wide range of articles.

Big thank you to Jordan for helping me with 8 large bags of gravel . Jordan not only showed me where to find the gravel but loaded my trolley , took it through the till area and then lifted them into my car being very caefully as he put them in . Excellent customer service Jordan thank you again.

Well what can you say about Homebase. If you want to any DIY, gardening of any kind, need lighting, or are decorating, then this is the place to go. Lady at the till was very friendly and chatty and I got what I needed. Also a short walk from where I live but has adequate parking should I need to use my car for heavy items

Visited the store today. Great range of garden furniture and this particular store had many on display which was a great help in my decision making.

Always worth a browse. The new kitchen show room is coming together although it would have been nice to have more staff around upstairs to ask things. But there were good brochures to take away. New bathroom section is in process. You can't beat the place for paints, lights, bulbs, batteries, garden furniture and equipment, curtain poles etc. You'll always pick.up something you need. Staff, although few and far between, are v friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Very impressed with their garden centre, looks good as you walk out, and a nice range of plants.

My grandson has a stoma bag and the ladies in Homebase Colchester today were amazing and made my daughter feel so comfortable in changing my grandson’ s stoma bag. The lady was so patient and caring and my daughter felt so at ease that she definitely will shop there again, I’ll as it’s the little things the store did today that made her feel really comfortable to bring her son to that store shopping. 😁
