Lidl

This is quite a new store. It is spotlessly clean, well run, well stocked and the staff simply fantastic. Prices are as ever in Lidl, competitive. Good car park as well but it can be a bit windy so hold onto your trolley least it redesign someone else's car paint.

Was in the store today, and even though the checkout was busy, the guy on the till, Richard, noticed that there was an over ripe satsuma in my bag. He promptly changed the bag for another one. I have noticed he is always going above and beyond, and I'm sure this makes a difference to a lot of customers. Great shop and a great shopping experience.

Tell me who your favourite staff member is in Lidl Northallerton and why is it Richard? (Head tattoos). Honestly, all the staff are great but he really does go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. In the cost of living crisis supermarkets need to be competitive price wise, but as they get closer it’s the staff that will swing customers from one to another. Lidl Northallerton is winning this game!

Don't normally review supermarkets, but, Richard at Lidl Northallerton is fantastic and you can tell he cares. Great to see in a big, bargain supermarket like Lidl. Keep up the good work Richard (the lad with the tattoos)! :)

A very clean & tidy store with everything you might need from a quick 'dash in' to a full shop.
Andy on the till was very helpful & informative regarding the advantages of their +app, which I will now download.

Just been in with my children. Whenever we are in one of your staff members Richard always seems to take time to go that extra step and make them feel welcome. Always has a smile and to show some interest in your life makes shopping here so much better.

Such a good store. It’s very big, has everything you can imagine. lots of parking spaces. It is giving that small town big shop vibes. Very much enjoyed visiting this Lidl.

i was in the shop today what a nice bloke at the till's Richard loads of tattoos my app wouldnt work and he sorted it out and he helped carry my shopping to the car as i have a bad back

Huge shout out to Richard who works in the Northallerton store. What a lovely guy he is very pleasant very helpfull and went above and beyond as we couldnt get a taxi back to our caravan park he sorted it so his wife came and picked us up and got is back to our caravan with our shopping such an act of kindness we will never forget credit to your company people like Richard are few and far between

Great store well worth the visit

Always pop in to Lidl, either to get a feed bits or do a big shop as it’s local to me. Called in last night for a few things, phone died when at the till and I stupidly only rely on Apple Pay. A guy called Richard was on and was great, he put my shopping aside and found me a charger. He couldn’t of been more helpful, he explained what had happened to others in the queue and they opened another till so I didn’t cause too much of a backlog. Thank you!

I haven’t been in for a while but was very impressed and pleased to see the hand sanitizer was still there at the entrance, very conscientious Lidl, well done !
And what a lovely. polite, cheerful & helpful guy on the checkout, I didn’t see his name badge, he had tattoos, he was great, I watched how he interacted with everyone In front of me, nothing was too much trouble.
Love this shop for the diverse food which you can’t get from anywhere else !!

Decent Lidl had everything we needed and always good on price.
