A blessing to the highstreet!
Lovely staff, beautiful pre-prepared meals, yummy sandwiches, the sausage rolls are the best I've had, delicious brownies and pastries, yummy cheeses and deli meat, and great supply of chutneys and sauces etc. Coffee also great!

The staff in here are always so polite and friendly. They make the best scotch eggs (I'm not a big scotch egg fan & would never buy the pre-packaged ones, but these are to die for, especially when you get one that's still warm!) Their sausage rolls and chocolate brownies are yummy too.

This is the best butcher in Surrey. We found it while living in Ashtead - now that we’ve moved to Reigate it’s still worth the trip for the fantastic quality meat, delicious prepared food and terrific deli. Oh, and the service is great too.

Couldn’t recommend it more. We bought up kebabs, sausages, potato salad and such for a 4 day stay in a cabin with a barbecue and I have to say it’s been an absolute treat every evening. We drive or hike up from leatherhead and wish we were closer to this fantastic shop. I always salivate at their locally produced honeys and jams too.

I am a great fan of the foods they have on sale here.....( I drive over 30 mins to get to either the Leatherhead or Ashtead locations !!) ...the pies, both savoury and sweet are excellent and the ready made international meals are super tasty and full of flavour....they don't skimp on the quality or quantity of protein!😉
My only constructive comment would be that after getting the wrong pies from both shops on 2 separate occassions recently, I would urge the staff / managers to ensure the labels are correctly placed with the right product! Also the beetroot + ?? pie had goats cheese in it , which wasn't mentioned on the label (its an acquired taste for some😊)
That said, it's not a deal breaker....good value and too tasty for that!!

Certainly one of the best butchers in greater London . The lamb is always exceptional ( season through ) and the beef has never failed to impress . Wild rabbit and pheasant abound in season --- The delicatessen has a range of European cured niceties and pies on the side which are wonderful . What a shop ! So nice to see pride shown in the window and shop display .

A fantastic family run company, the quality of the products are wonderful from the perfect pies through to the superb steaks, fabulous company. The brownies are sumptuous, melt in the mouth gooey in the middle and crisp on the outside, I could eat them all day!! The sausage rolls are also renowned for being wonderful a true sausage role which will out shine any competitor.

The service from the staff is exceptional! The ladies and gents are so kind their product knowledge is exceptional and they have a true family atmosphere and handle any query you may have with utmost professionalism.

I know that William Dyer are owned by a brilliant couple, Robert and Sara and are happy to help whatever the request.
Also last year William Dyer secured an abundance of awards for The Great Taste Awards, ranging from 3 stars to 1 star which are definitely worth the purchase! I would advise the Great Taste Award products to be ordered prior to visiting though as they are naturally in high demand.

I strongly recommend a visit to William Dyer. I cannot fault it.

An outstanding butchers based in Ashtead with the most delicious handmade pies and ready meals in Surrey! Exceptional quality meat and fantastically knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Came to the shop last week for the first time. OMG the whole place wouldnt look out of place in Harrods. The pies were amazing as were the brownies. Definitely going back for loafs more, especially the ready meals.

Fabulous butcher and delicatessen. Everything I have tried there is always first-class! We are using them for our cricket event next month - the menus look wonderful!

The ready meals are really good. I have had a fair number and liked them all.

Only started using the butchers here recently but have bought some fantastic meat. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and Robert even gave some useful tips and tricks for cooking 10kg of pulled pork :)

My go to place when I want some yummy meat. A proper butcher that will cut you something of not on display. I've tried virtually all the other butcher around and still find this one the best.

Friendly and well informed staff is a bonus.

For a first time order; We got a chicken, meat pie, sausages and bacon for the week's dinner. Everything was awesome. Very little fat and wonderfully tasty. We'll be going back for more.

Amazing butcher and deli. Great selection of different meats with excellent and helpful staff to guide you. Also has a great deli counter with an interesting selection of cheeses, cooked meats etc.

Not cheap! But that's really only because the quality is so high. Great prepared meals; Thai curries, pies etc. Everything looks so so delicious in there. If only money was no issue!!!

not only do they have outstanding produce coupled with outstanding service from the very knowledgeable staff whom if you ask will give good recipe and cooking ideas, they also go the extra mile and further to help idiot customer (me) to retrieve car keys from the storm drain outside....

This as got to be on par with the best if not the best butchers in all aspects of running a family business .... top quality butchers from a sausage to a top side of beef 🥩.... Bugsy moppo & little Richard.... keep up the good work you all do ...
