I would recommend if you have Scottish money don't ask if is accepted here as clearly not.

I had filled the van up of fuel and went into pay to put on the counter my Scottish money down and the man looked at me and stated if we can't scan it and then we don't accept it.

I explained it's legal tender you can't refuse it I am offering to pay and Scotland last time I checked is still part of the United Kingdom. What the actual hell is going on we are heading down a slippery slope as this situation is only going to get worse if we let these companies dictate to us.

I've just been accused of walking out on fuel without paying, a little while ago - the cashier's words - and was asked when I was going to pay. I said I wasn't because it wasn't me. He gave me very little information about the incident; I challenged him about it and he said 'I look like the person that did this'.
Freedom of information act states that you have to give me the information you have on me when requested. I asked, and he told me that it looked like the same car, but could have been any car. So, he brushed over the car, instead categorically implying that it was 'ME' specifically that had done this.
I asked for an apology, which he told me he wasn't going to give, because he wasn't sorry.
I am absolutely appalled with this situation. What sort of people are working here, to falsely accuse, and not even apologise!!
