Asda Wallsend Supermarket

I have shopped at Asda Benton for many years. During covid and the restrictions I started shopping at the Wallsend branch and have never left. It's a smaller store but stocked everything I ever needed. The staff are all lovely, helpful and cheerful you can have banter which is nice these days. The staff work hard and are a credit to the manager. Please pass on this review as staff don't always get the recognition they deserve.

I would like to take this opportunity to give a great big Thank you to the lovely staff who allowed me to use the staff toilet afew days ago in the Wallsend area of the city Asda store as I learnt that there aren't any public toilets in the store really appreciate being able to use their facilities.

very handy local store. Has self service check out as well as staffed tills. Range of foods is obviously not as big as larger stores but more than adequate for everyday needs.
If you go in the evenings around 7pm - 8pm you can often get the pastries and fresh breads at a seriously discounted price. Staff are very friendly too and the store is generally clean and tidy.

Staff are fantastic and friendly and have been throughout the pandemic. Very well organised and stocked. Lots of parking, I’ve never struggled. Also next to a metro station. Quiet times tend to be late on or early at weekends which is when I prefer to go.

I don't write many reviews unless I'm really happy with the service came in the other day and asked the security guard a question think his name was Ryan and he was really friendly and very helpful don't let his size intimidate you very impressed

The staff have been amazing during this pandemic from day one. I shop here regularly for different people as I work in home care and find the staff lovely, helpful and so happy to help even during these stressful time. I commend you all. Thank you. X

One of the nicest Asda stores I've ever been in. All the staff are friendly and it has a real community feel about it. Their self service tills are super clean 😉.

Never had any problems here, polite and friendly staff, clean store and a reasonable choice of items. However when my son collapsed in the store...staff (two in particular) were absolutely fantastic. I can't thank them enough.

Lovely shop lovely staff great security guard lovely clean nice shop always staff around 2 help you the staff always friendly to help you ! I wish adsa move the shop into Wallsend in the forum take over the indoor Market that would be lot better for the customers have adsa in the heart off Wallsend it's bigger space bigger building ! Adsa always been my favourite shop to go to better quality than the other supermarkets the staff are the best more l can say for the others l rate adsa 10/10

I was in the wallsend store on Friday 20/11/2020. after I had already been to 3 other Asda's in and around Newcastle that day. and out of all the stors I went to tha day this one was the only one who offered to help me find what I was looking for .with out me even asking 2 wonderful members of staff jumped on the phones and internet with the help and assistance of another employee .to fine me what I was looking for .thay could see how important this item was to me for my daughter for Christmas .they never gave up or fobbed me off and for all there hard word thay were successful and made my day and now my daughters Christmas .so I wout like to say a big thank you to nicole and ill and the other wonderful lady who's name I sadly forgot to get in my blind panic rush .thank you very much and a very early merry Christmas xx

Small store but don't let that fool you, big selection to choose from, free parking.
