Asda Newton Abbot Superstore

Don't go here often as wrong side of town for me. Was pleasantly surprised at the sale goods, unbelievably cheap.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just wanted to leave this one as I have never had a better experience at a store in my life. The staff amazing and always go above and beyond but one person stands out and that’s Jo. She is an exceptional manager, not only patient and kind but extremely thorough and meticulous. She and her staff are an asset to the store and Asda. If only all stores were like this one.

Can find practically anything I want here and prices are not bad.

However does need a second door or a glass wall to separate the cafe from the entrance, doors don’t get chance to close with so many customers and there is a cold draft in the cafe area.

Served by an absolutely great till operatior today called Leroy; funny, friendly and definitely deserves a gold star!

Just grabbing a few bits this afternoon. Wasn’t too busy went to the checkout and the cashier was fantastic. Really good service. Generally good service as a whole.

Easy to get to. Ample parking. Great Costa coffee and all the staff are very friendly

Everything and I mean everything, in one place. Exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff, wide aisles and plenty of air. Well lit, well presented. A good place to do all shopping

Excellent service. Kind and friendly delivery drivers. Good price for how much food I order. Will defiantly be doing all my shopping at Asda from now on.

I was in Newton Abbot store today and needed some help from a George colleague. How lucky are you to have such a wonderful lady on your staff. She was so helpful and pleasant and even recognised us when we came back a second time to check on an item and she checked for us. I think her name is Kerry and you can thank her profusely for us. Our little dog was having an op and she was kind enough to remember that and check how she was.

I really do have to compliment Asda Newton Abbot on the quality of their fresh green vegetables. Fresh, clean, value for money and great to eat. A massive 10 out of 10 for selling Cornish produce! I will be back!!

Very nice to shop today mobility scooter available and easy to steer round the store. At checkouts very good helped through the barriers.

Asda are always first to sell new products. Homeware good value. You can buy almost anything you need in a shop in the centre of Newton Abbot. Much better than driving to an expensive out of town supermarket. Staff trying their best in very difficult circumstances

Very helpful staff even though they were busy stacking shelves at 9.30 at night. Great selection of products. I went there for storage solutions for my new kitchen and work top protectors very reasonably priced compared with Sainsbury's Dunelm and marks and Spencers. No parking fee this time of night which was a bonus. Not 24 hour at the moment due to covid but open until 12 midnight. Very leisurely experience would recommend shopping this time of day. Lots of staff on hand to help if you need it.

Love Asda. 3 for 2 on sandwiches, wraps and sushi. Great fruit, large range of products .. and you always find something different like the jammy Dodger/Maryland cookie mash up .. and they sell clothes, storage, games, homewares... Loads of things available at great prices.

Always use Click and collect the staff are excellent. Has two Christmas collections this week and pretty much got all we needed with minimal subs. Great job.

So lovely and caring, our baby got locked inside our car on the car park. In a panic we broke the car window to get her out and she had a few minor scratches on her face. Jo and Sue were so helpful. We don’t live in the area, we live 5 hour drive away, so we were stranded, Jo and Sue helped us find a hotel, a locksmith to get the keys out the boot and helped us with supplies for our baby girl over night. Do friendly and helpful

I was part of the queue of people waiting for you to open Sunday just gone & just wanted to say just brilliant you as a team are doing in such a horrendous time , your store had well stocked shelves & everyone was really lovely & even with the extra security laid on all of which were so polite & helpful really did help to keep the morale up in this scary time . Good size store and decent parking. Click and collect is very easy and well organised (bays right outside the door).

Staff friendly and helpful. It's an Asda, so good prices and decent produce.

Large supermarket good range of products only wanted a couple of items. But some gaps on shelves no own brand ginger biscuits 😕😕

All good, except they forgot to take the tags off! 🤦‍♂
