I had to write this as I’d seen some of the poor reviews when looking for details of the store to take my parcel to earlier. Yes not the most open and friendly shopkeeper but he’s doing his job, is the only place for miles around I could take my parcel to , was quick and efficient , made sure I had the receipt I needed. This is the second time I’ve been there and my parcel was returned in time frames required etc. It’s not easy running a local village store with all of the larger supermarkets these days and I doubt he makes a great deal of ££ out of taking parcels etc. I also made a small purchase (hadn’t taken anything to pay with) -next time I’ll take my parcel and make sure I get a few other bits as well -Deanshanger are lucky to have this local store. We should all be supporting these small traders where we can before they disappear.

The guy who runs this place always makes me feel like I’m doing him a massive favour and is about as helpful as the last person in the end of queue marked ‘help for sale here’…I wish they had alternative drop off for Evri etc…I’d drive a long way to avoid… awful experience but consistent in that they are always dreadful….avoid!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life when dropping off an evri parcel - how do they keep using this shop as a drop off point as can see other reviews mention it

Every now and then I am compelled to visit this shop as it is my nearest Hermes drop off point. Each time, the shop keeper (not sure if there is more than one- apologies to anyone else working there) is dismissive and impolite. Today I’m ashamed to say I lost my temper at his overtly rude attitude. Still fuming. Wouldn’t go back and will complain to Hermes shortly.

Everything you pick up is atleast a year out of date; shop keeper rude. And they always say card machine broke so they can dodge tax. Filthy shop; avoid.

If l could give zero stars l would….. rude, absolutely no customer service, very unpleasant man.

Such a disappointment. What's the need to open a shop just to show your contempt towards people. A friendly tip try smiling. Perhaps try a little customer service

Avoid this shop like a plague.
