Benwick Sports Angling Centre

We travelled from Lincolnshire to Benwicks due to good prices on poles compared to other angling shops. We had very good service and advise . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help us. So thank you to all of you . We would definitely return again despite the distance and would recommend to others .

Absolutely five star service , after having a nightmare with another company I finally got a refund and searched for the same rod from somewhere else and luckily I found Benwicks , I ordered very late on Monday afternoon , I received a email from DX parcels on Tuesday saying they had it and it’s on its way and another on Wednesday saying it’s out for delivery , it arrived by just after midday on Wednesday , the rod arrived in a heavy cardboard tube with plastic end caps both taped on , inside the rod was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and even 3 bands of bubble wrap wound to the size of the tube to stop it moving inside the tube , end result was the rod arrived in perfect condition , it was a really fast delivery time and that was just the standard delivery and a very happy customer .
So not only would I very highly recommend Benwicks I would also like to congratulate their team for exceptional service from start to finish thank you .

I travel a great deal and have probably visited in person most of the tackle shops in and around the South East. Benwick's is by far and away the best I've found in the S/E, well stocked, helpful and run by anglers. That they also provide an online mail order service that is the icing on the cake, its quick, efficient and very well organised. Some times it feels like stock is on the way before I've hit the order button. I have no qualms about recommending these guys to anyone looking for kit.

Great tackle shop , huge choice for the match / specimen anglers , alot of stuff you just won't find in other tackle shops , very quick at posting stuff out as well .

Well worth the drive from anywhere to get here. Fabulous setup over 2 levels. Everything you could want from bait to end tackle with all the main brands covered. Great selection of luggage and clothing. And to top it all the blokes in there are BRILLIANT. will go back as often as I can.

Popped in today to get some advice on gear. Great service, my partner and I left with both more knowledge and bought some kit. Will be going back! Didn't catch the name of the bloke who helped us but thanks so much for your time.

Alaidens cave. Everything you can think about for fishing is in this shop. There are so many items to choose from in the within the fishing takle shop. Big thanks to the staff , lots of experience. Highly recommended to take a look.

1st time using Benwick sports Angling....purchased a hat which I was already familiar with(but sadly lost on my travels ) so found one here ,also purchased a polo ,both dispatched and delivered in good time ,perfect fit and in a condition you would expect ,providing my size and future items I require are in stock i will no doubt be purchasing from you guys again very soon thanks again .

Good service and prices. I ordered a new seat box from this company. Before despatch they checked it over and rang me to confirm the specifications. They also made sure by contacting the manufacturer to ensure that all the components were incurred before shipping. Excellent customer service.

Had a great service by the team at Benwick today. Went in for a few things and one thing they didn’t have in stock. So I asked the woman on the counter if they had any out back which is when she directed me to Ian, he explained that the order hadn’t came in yet and took my phone number so he could let me know when it came back in. Later that day I got a phone call saying that he had put one out back with my name on it so I could pick it up the next day. I see there is bad reviews but I can only speak highly of the team that work there. Thanks guys

Superb online fishing shop. Always seem to have stock of hard to get items. Excellent service, next day delivery for a very good price. Changed my mind on a previous order, explained through their order page. Benwick cancelled order with no quibble with an immediate refund. I've ordered 5 times with them now, and would always be the first place to go to. Extremely hard to beat.

Always a little hesitant ordering online from someone new, especially when it's a fishing rod. Need not have worried. Delivered in a sensible time and was packed much much better than one I ordered from an alternative popular online shop – which I ended up returning as it was damaged. Really pleased with my purchase. Will definitely use them again.

Items Dispatched 27/4/22 and email confirmation of dispatch same day.
Items delivered at 10.30am Friday 29/4/22.
I can't fault that service,items were packaged well and arrived undamaged and the postage was reasonable for the items ordered.

I have dealt with Benwick sports via online ordering for the past two years or so since I took up match angling, I deal with all the major angling stores & have to say Benwick sports are superb, Great online ordering software, stock levels are always good (unless the supplier is out of stock), stock levels accurate and always answer any questions I have via the telephone without hesitation. packing is always good and delivery again superb. lets take yesterdays order, ordered at 2pm, delivered next day at 08.40. I deal with Matt when I call and his knowledge is second to none, and I am sure the rest of the team there are too. well done Benwick sports! 10/10.

Excellent shop. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Despite a long drive for me, I shall return soon. Amazing range of everything!

There seems to be a few complaints about rude & arrogant staff here, however, on the 2 occasions I've spoken to the employees/owner I've had a good experience.

Re' transactions - The store always has a real time website stock inventory, prices are competitive, and everything has always been received in a timely manner.

I'm very impressed, & will carry on buying from here as a result.
