I visited today to get a key cut. Service was friendly, efficient and great value for money. What an amazing store, so many wide ranging DIY and household products available on the door step without having to drive for one of the large faceless out of town superstores.

Absolutely love this place.

Genuine prices with a personal touch. If you need something DIY/household related you should without doubt pop in; key cutting, tools, bulbs - you name it, they have it.

I absolutely love coming here - It's like the room of requirement from Harry Potter with so many different useful items. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful and always seems to find exactly what we're looking for. He recently recommended some amazing incense and gave me a free sample to try - he was bang on the money, best incense I've ever used - The shop also has household cleaning fluid refill stations if that's what you're after. Recommend coming in just for a browse, you'll definitely leave with something!

I have been coming to Withers for 24 years, my local go to place that I can’t do without.
Old owners were brilliant and new owners are amazing. He always has what I need or a solution to a problem.
It’s the aladdins cave of DIY.

Absolutely fantastic place. Been there tens of times and almost never failed to find what I need. Guy who runs it is lovely too, very polite and helpful :)

Dave has everything and if he doesn’t he will order it for you! Outstanding customer service. He does repairs of garden tools, and as I’m not up for always using new, I bought a decent folk for a very reasonable price. I’ve realised these sort of stores our great for the community and we should treasure them. A much better shopping experience than going to one of the big impersonal super stores! An amazing shop that effectively has anything you ever need! And if they don't have it, they will do everything they can to get it for you. A real asset to the village.

Thank you Dave, you are always so helpful, my heart fell when the previous owners of Withers left as I like many others had often found they had what I needed, no matter how specialist, to the point where I always tried them before going elsewhere. Well imagine my surprise when the new owners managed to do even better, if you are struggling to find something and David will often have a solution that is even better than what you thought you wanted. He goes out of his way to help you whatever your need.
I recently needed a circular saw repairing
And none of the main manufacturers wanted to touch it, I then tried to buy a circular saw to fit my workbench and everyone wanted to sell me a new workbench with saw fixed in, this did not suit as my bench will take a circular saw a planer, a router and a jig saw, which none of the others would. I went back to David and he got my circular saw fixed
David also now makes beautiful wooden house signs.
Whatever you go in for he will ask what job you are doing and he will ask whether you have this or that that you may need to complete or make job easier or Better.
SO IF YOU ARE LOCAL GO TO DAVID AT WITHERS FIRST AND MOST TIME YOU WONT HAVE TO GO ELSEWHERE. He even sells lots of hooks screws nails nuts and bolts loose you do not have to buy more than you need.
SO USE YOUR LOCAL DIY/ HOUSEHOLD STORE, save travel buy what you want and make sure they are here next time you need them.

This little shop has EVERYTHING!! I always know that I can get what I need and the staff are so kind and helpful. The shop is full of all the helpful bits that we need for the home. From lightbulbs to elastic!! We need to support small businesses so if you ever get the chance please pop in. Easy parking also is a bonus .

Dave is amazing! Sorted out lock in 10 mins, found me a new light switch! Even had the dishwasher salt I needed! This place has every thing you could possibly want, all served with a smile! Many thanks

Brilliant local shop that seems to sell everything, people who run it are so friendly and helpful. Took my watch to get a battery after being quoted £15-£20 by a well know retailer, Dave sold and fitted a battery for £4. Thanks....

Amazingly friendly owners, always willing to help and take the time to show you where something is in the store. They're also consistently cheaper in price than most of the big named brand shops.
This shop is an absolute gem and I enjoy my weekly visits

It's not the plethora of products to choose from, nor because its the best place to get that spare part, tool or accessory, it is the outstanding customer service that you receive that makes it a pleasure to spend your money here, time and again.

You could be the 5th customer in a queue but you'll be acknowledged, responded to in a timely fashion and in a calm, polite manner too.

I live local and will keep returning to this store when I need something.

Privilege to have such a great store on the doorstep, an alladins cave of retail greatness one might say. Anything you need to know about electricals, DIY.....the staff are always pleasant, friendly and happy to share their knowledge & experience.

This is a fantastic little DIY shop with everything you could imagine packed in. Anything not out in the store is probably in the room at the back if you ask.

Super knowledgeable staff who are especially accommodating of the elderly. They come outside to help those in wheelchairs or scooters as the aisles are fairly narrow.

Fantastic range of stock, even for the most obscure spare parts. Excellent service. New eco-friendly cleaning product refills good value for money.

Fantastic service in this shop. The new owners have improved this shop, are very helpful and I have no need now to go to the big DIY and gardening stores. This shop stocks the lot and will order in anything you need at great prices.
