Nellies fabric shop

I found this shop today and it was a delight. Very friendly and helpful staff and a wide range of products and services. I found just what I wanted (and more) There are courses available as well as a place for a knit and a natter. I recommend it if you are looking for anything to do with sewing, knitting or similar crafts.

I can highly recommend Nellies sewing courses, I am a complete beginner and have just done their six week course at Nellies, I learnt a lot, pattern knowledge, made a wearable dress, with sleeves, a hidden zip, bodice and pockets! We were a group of three of various levels but was never made to feel I was holding group up. Emma’s patience is incredible.
Oh and their shop is like a sweet shop, impossible to leave not wanting to return to start another project.

It's the first time I've been to Nellie's Fabric Shop. After a phone call to Emma to check that they would be able to help, I took my precious Brother sewing machine to be looked at by a very helpful Neil. I left it in his capable hands and was reassured that he would soon have it back on the road as I do a lot of free machine embroidery and it has a recurring problem with a loose bobbin case. I am very hopeful that Neil will work magic and I will soon be back on the road. The shop is full of beautiful fabrics and haberdashery- a treasure trove for people like me.

Soooo helpful, love the shop, but beware there is so much choice you could end up spending a lot more than you planned 😄

Just completed a beginners crochet course & now I can crochet! Wendy is a fabulous teacher & Emma & Neil are great hosts. The space that they have is warm & welcoming. If only I didn’t work, I could spend more time here.

I love this shop, it’s like a sweet shop but with loads of beautiful materials, fab accessories and equipment for your chosen hobby. The ppl who run the shop are amazing, down to earth, helpful and will answer any questions you have. I’ve had a few as I’ve only just started sewing but their help has really encouraged me to get more into my hobby of sewing ✨

Nellies has moved to much larger premises in New Road, Pershore, just behind the Factory Shop, opposite the fruit and veg market. Lots of lovely fabrics, patterns, knitting wools and accessories. Fat quarters, quilting and patchwork fabrics are plentiful and good quality. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The new premises not only boast more space for their expanding ranges but also parking spaces, toilets, a room for Neil to do repairs, a space for a workshop room and even the possibilities for coffee and cake on their opening weekend!

This lovely, hard-working couple deserve every success in this new step on their journey.

I went in over the weekend and as a new sewer, They were very helpful, took the time to explain different fabrics that would work for some projects I have in mind. Great selection and a "nothing is too much trouble attitude!"

Excellent selection of fabrics and haberdashery. The shop is run by the owners who are always welcoming and helpful whatever you're looking for.

Just had my first parcel of patch work fabric, I made a suggestion of colours and 2 fabrics I saw on her web site she very kindly sent me about 6 that she thought would work together as I am making my very first patch work quilt. I chose 3,the base wasn't just what I wanted and explained what I did want, she ordered it from her suppliers and it all arrive well withi the week,well under half price of high st shops a nd beautiful to work with, will use again Thank you Emma
