Matalan

Visited this place to kill time as visited somewhere else. OMG I wish I would listen to myself and not go. I go to look accessibility via small car park or escalator from shopping centre. Wheelchair friendly. As said window shopping nope always something you need when going here. Almost £100lighter homeware. Lots of ideas via displays. New bedding I didn't need but I liked it so I'm the basket it went. Lovely kitchen containers in new blue/ white almost bought but wouldn't match colour scheme. Clothes / shoes next summer on way . Lots of pumps / t/ shirts lots of trousers. Think more summery is needed which there is time. . Lingerie yes definitely always attractive need to buy. Would recommend having blindfold when visiting here ( especially if not wanting to spend). Things idea you want them here has what you need.

The staff are brilliant. Never been to a shop where the staff are so proactive to keep the queues down and to help out. I wanted a click & collect parcel and on hearing me speaking about it a male assistant ( tall , close cropped fair hair) came over and sorted it out.
Store very clean and tidy considering it was busy and had the Xmas decorations on sale.

refurbished since the last time i was in. new stock, but to old fashioned even for me and I'm a pensioner.

Great choice of summer ware. Reasonable prices. Shop is well laid out. Favourite place for most of my clothing

Went in the long way to get there via morrison they have lots of stuff cloths very good and staff I spoken to could do enough to help aswell as the changing room staff really helpful cheers

Good choice, great sale with some PROPER bargains that we all need in these times !! Defo going back but don't go with buying something in mind, you have to have a good look and see what appeals to you.

Saved my life a few times this place with a last minute suit and jacket.

Hi, after shopping at Killingworth store, my sister fell in the carpark, some lovely shoppers helped, then staff were informed and came to assist, amazing 👏 , especially Donna and young manager, Donna even gave us some of her sweetie stash. After few hours at A & E, nothing broken, now recovering at home and head wound ok xx Many thanks from the 2 sisters at a horrible time xx

Good bargains at a low price. Worth a look

After my mother had an accident on the escalator today the staff came to assist us they dressed wounds took a report and staff were as helpful as they could be. They sent for security who arrived with no paperwork or first aid kit they were absolutely disgraceful so thanks to Matalan staff for all they did

Good selection of clothing and household items as well as bedding at reasonable prices

Called for click & collect parcel easy & quick. Served by helpful/friendly staff. Treated myself to a lovely red throw with pompoms for my bed while I was there at a very reasonable price.

Matalan at Killingworth has everything going for it. There is a large car park, blue badge parking next to the entrance, dry shopping trolleys or smaller karts, and I think the full range of their excellent value clothes and home products. 'Click and collect' of course too.
The coffee shop sells really great coffee and other drinks together with snacks all at a very reasonable price. The staff in the coffee shop are just wonderful and everrthing is spotlessly clean.
There are toilets and baby changing facilities near to the coffee shop.
For good design and great value Matalan at Killingworth is the tops 😍

Nice big store. The only downside is that the changing rooms are shut

Huge place with parking and all sorts of clothing variety you might need and helpful staff. Was quite handy as I needed to grab something quickly on my way to work. Was open from 8:30 AM.

Love Matalan. Great value for money!! However the Killingworth store needs a good refurb!! Leaky roof, customer toilets are awful and lastly they need to sort their air-con out! Not to bad in the winter as its nice to be warm but the summer it's like a sauna! Feel for the poor staff working in that environment!! Get it sorted Matalan!! X
