Lovely store. Staff are helpful. Only went in for essentials, first time here. Going back. Price of their own goods are same as normal supermarket!

Staff are pleasant and the store is well stocked. Even though the prices are far more reasonable and competitive than ever you will have to excuse the older generations who still believe that Waitrose is some kind of supermarket for the elite:)

Compact little shop. Amazed how busy it was today. Very small road entrance but ok parking. Staff very friendly couldn't find any toad In the hole ready meal
But the foxes crunchy creams were great value at a pound !!

Brilliant, just did the pre-christmas shop, 8pm 23/12, some stocks a bit low, but got everything, except cauliflower. Very civilised, used self scan.... Great 👌😊.
This time I used the phone app to scan, even better.
Or there is the handheld scanners, they work just as well.
Pre Christmas 🎄 shop again 2023, just as civilised. Only issue was the free coffee machine running out of milk for my Latte 😂

Top quality products for a price. Best cheese counter in any supermarket. Also a vast choice of good quality wines and spirits.

I often shop here. Just a nice atmosphere and staff. Great selection, especially for bread making as there's quite a variety of flour.

Found everything I was looking for,used self service machine it could not find my goods at first nice staff sorted it outsaid machine done this before this morning so people good machine bad

Whenever I am in Eastbourne, I always go to this Waitrose. Very clean and a good layout with lots to choose from. A good, organised car park with electric chargers too. Service at the check outs is always very friendly and seem very open to have a chat as well. Keep it up, Waitrose.

Lovely shop in Old town. Staff is very polite with nice smile. Products are bit more expensive but you can buy here their original products, something unique. Love Waitrose ice cream.

I like waitrose there veg is so fresh although a bit dearer than other supermarkets it worth the extra and it stays fresh longer

The staff are in my opinion what makes Waitrose so special. You never hear 'if it's not there, we haven't got it' Also they are always polite and helpful, making it a pleasure to shop there.

I had the most AMAZING experience, and was totally unexpected. After having a terrible time with asda, whom I had shopped with for over 13 years, I contacted this store to ask whether they had any vegan birthday cakes in store. It was last minute before a birthday surprise, and I thought I'd phone ahead as I walk everywhere. Paula, who answered the phone, couldn't have been more helpful! An absolute credit to the company. She was extremely helpful, went above and beyond, literally ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I have never in my 35 years experienced customer service as good and shocking as what I received from Paula. I will be contacting the branches manager today, and all locations to review this wonderful lady. Who absolutely saved my birthday surprise. Truly grateful. Thank you Paula. Xxx

Can't fault this store. I'm not local to EB, but pop in here when I'm visiting. Clean and tidy store, friendly staff, and always has what I need.

Much improved visit. Helpful staff, adherence to governmental guidlines with implementation.

Not busy. Queing systems functional unlike other large supermarkets nearby making this not a stressful shopping experience.

Good choice of products available. From fresh fruit to homeware and everything in between.

Visited the store on Sunday 2nd January whilst shopping in Eastbourne to get a few extras on the way home…….on my list was Jackson’s white Bloomer bread……got to the bread section….nothing, nil, nowt. Then to my rescue came employee Phil, my 5 star bread hero! He got me from the stock room two loaves. Thank you so much Phil.

Good Covid practice, very clean and bright environment. Excellent selection of food as you would expect, staff very helpful, ok it's more expensive than others but you get quality and a better shopping experience. Hardly ever shop here but when we do it's a repeatable experience.
