Genuine, friendly and very knowledgeable. I bought a rigid heddle loom from them and was very pleased with it, they had waxed the parts for me, and it was easy to put together. I messaged for some advice on spinning wheels and requested for my spinning wheel to be waxed and set up. It was well worth the drive up to collect it, by appointment; as the owner also gave a one to one session , specific to my needs. I had requested to go through a brief introduction to spinning and answer some questions I had about weaving techniques. It was enjoyable, informative, relevant, relaxed, friendly, and clearly, the owner is very knowledgeable; it was was well worth the 300 mile round trip.

Visited during a spin and chat session (check website for details) excellent range of stock for spinning, weaving and dyeing. Owners very knowledgeable and helpful.

Haven't actually received my order just yet, but very excited as they appear to be the only place in the UK where one can purchase the KIKI3 carry bag. Seller has excellent communication as well, keeping me up to date and responding to my many annoying emails. Thanks to Gai for all her hard work putting up with me. :)

I first visited here 2 weeks ago with the intention of trying out an Ashford kiwi spinning wheel I was considering buying to replace my current Louet, which I bought secondhand and was continually struggling with. The owners, Gai and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. I tried the Kiwi, but didn't gel with it. I felt very disappointed as I thought it was down to my lack of skill, despite having spun several years before on my Ashford traditional quite competently. Gai asked me to try a traveller wheel instead as she thought it might suit me better. Now, I much prefer the look of more modern wheels and hadn't honestly considered a traveller but I was happy to bow to her experience and give it a try. What a revelation! I gelled with the wheel immediately and whilst I didn't buy it that day, 10 days later I went back and got the wheel. If anyone is wishing to purchase any fibre related equipment then I cannot recommend a trip here to do so more highly. There's no pressure to buy, just lots of help, advice and a warm and friendly welcome!

Treasure trove of fibres in so many beautiful colours! A really lovely shop run by really lovely people. I just had a class of how to use a drop spindle and had so much fun. I can't wait to practice what I have learnt. Thank you for such a brilliant experience. Will defintley be back again!
