Came in to buy an oven, went to the service desk to ask about a particular model. Had a very helpful person who answered all of my questions, and then went out if his way to go and check something else after we had finished speaking. No pressure to buy anything from him either.

Staff were really helpful, our new TV had a fault and we took it back in and had it swapped for another really quickly with great customer service

Recently had to buy a new double oven cooker and washer/dryer. Friendly staff good selection. Sorted delivery and removal of old appliances with no problems. Very happy with service.

Came to purchase a speaker at 6:30 Thursday to buy a speaker the lad that served me was formal with friendly customer service 👍🏻 didn’t have the speaker I wanted but found one similar in a blue instead a different colour which was ultimately a better choice so thank you for that

A brilliant team of staff led by Christina - a 5 star manager. After saving up for most of the year my partner and I purchased a Sony A95K TV from the store. Sadly when we got it home it was DOA. After 2 weeks of mind numbing phone calls to Sony UK (who I was told to contact by Currys Call Centre as apparently they had no more stock) I called back into the store.

Christina was not on officially on duty at the time but agreed to hear my problem and immediately checked to confirm they had a replacement and could sort the very next day. She and her colleague Andy went out of their way to ensure our experience was fantastic. The fact that I'm more or less deaf didn't phase anyone - Christina took me to a quiet part of the store and spent a significant amount of time listening to what I had to say, giving me time and being very patient. Everyone who works in large customer facing stores such as this could take a leaf out of her book when helping those with a disability. Absolutely brilliant experience in store with her and the team, I will make Currys @ Crewe my No1 destination for future tech / white good purchases. Thank you!

Good customer service and plenty of choice in stock

I went in looking at condenser dryers and American fridge freezers. The man telling me about the dryers seemed more interested on what his mobile was doing than me asking him questions so I told him I would just look online. I went looking at the American fridge freezers the lady was really nice showed me the models in my price range showed all the features of each one and asked if I needed any help with anything else. (I didn't buy anything this time but I have bought my dishwasher, dryer and washing machine from there in the past)

Acted as "taxi driver" for my very good neighbour. His tablet had developed an issue whereby his virtual assistant had stopped responding to his voice commands.

He had checked his receipt and discovered he still had 5 months left on his tech support package.

Met on arrival to store by Kerry who was very friendly, bubbly and polite. She directed us to the support desk and asked us to take a seat.

She then got on one of the tech support team, named Jon, to sit with my neighbour and go through the problem.

Jon was very patient, calm and worked systematically through all possible causes of the fault.

He discovered it was caused by a failed update that was hung following the soft restart of the tablet.

After a hard restart with a 2 min wait before reboot the problem was rectified with a rerun of the update.

My neighbour left with his tablet fully functioning and very happy.

A very big Thank you to Kerry and her team at Crewe who were so very kind and helpful when my mum recently took ill in the store. They were compassionate and very efficient in getting her comfortable and calling an ambulance. They couldn’t do enough whilst she was there and called round with flowers a couple of days later. They’ve certainly secured custom from us forever.
Can’t thank them all enough.

Very helpful nothing too much trouble

2 recent purchases served by a young but helpful guy each time. Have previously had long waits but staffing seems improved lately as I saw others making enquiries and being looked after promptly as well. Display stock is good, product names are well displayed so you can check online reviews easily. Care package was explained well but not over sold.

It was great to see plenty of 'Hidden Disabilities' lanyards available showing that the company understands those of its customers who may have such conditions.

Excellent service from a team member on my visit. I went in store to purchase an iPhone X as a replacement as I lost mine. My insurance company gave me a curry’s voucher to purchase the phone so I could only go there. Martin did everything he could to find me a phone that day as I needed one there and then as I was going on holiday at 3am the next day. He searched all of the local stores to see if they stocked any and called the store ahead to keep it aside for me. I’m so pleased that it was him that assisted me as normally I’d of expected a “sorry not in stock response” he has totally restored my trust in Curry’s as I had been messed around a lot in a Newcastle branch. Well done Martin and thank you again.
