Tesco Extra

I visit Tesco Extra Morfa, Ln Carmarthen probably once a month on route home to Oxfordshire after visiting my mum in Pembrokeshire. I always stock up on Shirgar salted butter as it’s a family favourite. Today, we were late leaving Pemb’s so I said to my husband we’ll stop off and stock up on Shirgar butter, which I knew was on offer and I’ll buy ready meals for Sunday dinner. This is something I NEVER do because I make everything from scratch myself normally, but knowing we’d be late arriving to Oxfordshire and are working early the next morning it was a necessity. I suggested he wait in the car and I’d do a quick trolley dash! I ran in and grabbed a self service zapper and ran around the store zapping away. I got some reduced bargains, which I was feeling chuffed about, because the chap reducing tickets reduced mine further, so I did take things off the handset and re-zapped, including a cooked chicken for a rotisserie ready raw chicken. When I came to pay I realised that the reduced stuff has doubled up on the handset, so a kind member of staff took it off for me and I paid. When I looked at my receipt, it seemed a lot, I noticed I’d paid for 3x chickens. I was directed over to customer services and knew that my whole trolley would have to be checked with my receipt. Leanne and Nansi, who were so helpful went carefully through my receipt and rectified the problem with my handset and refunded me the overcharged chickens. I think the problem with the handset was due to the wifi. My husband came in to find out where I was, so a quick trolly dash backfired! Good job I bought everything ready made because Sunday dinner will be very late tonight. I just wanted to thank the excellent staff at Tesco Carmarthen for their friendliness and wonderful customer service. I’ll keep popping in for my butter, but maybe not ready meals. 😊

Always clean in store and full of friendly staff. Donna Harry at the Pharmacy was wonderful when helping me find the products I needed.

Always shop at Tescoes - every thing I need and very good parking ! I am critical of one thing -- A very large reasonable printed price on for instance nets of lemons -- Great ! you think -have some -- Then at the check out on your printed account - its double the price ! Oh ! thats only if you have a Tescoes Club Card - when you have a member of your your staff check it out - virtually out of sight is a minuscule printed notice confirming the Club card price ! you would virtually have to get on your knees to discover and read it - what must happen time an time again is that the customer < without the card > blissfully pays the double charge - this happens all the time on items with out count - in a perfect world and with honesty prevailing - the two prices would be of equal size !!

Great service, phone shop(rear of store) fantastic service and advice. Rest of store great service in general always have full stocks of food.

An excellent place for shopping and they have a good cafe here as well serving nice food.

A giant shop with everything you could possibly need!

I only ever visit this shop when down visiting but it always has everything we could need for a holiday. There is the usual grocery section, but it includes clothing & home sections which is great for relieving these stress of forgetting something.

There is ample parking out front and the petrol station is an added bonus.

Hi , me and my partner went to Tesco today for our monthly shop ( 1st April 2022), we brought ribs from your butcher and would just like to say that he was the most helpful , engaging , friendly person we have ever been served by !! What a top bloke ! Also your cashier that served us ( she will remember us with the two trolleys 😩😩😩🤣🤦‍♀), was so nice and friendly . Great members of staff . Thankyou so much guys !! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Massive store, great selection of stuff. Does get packed during the day, especially on Monday and Friday, so come early in the morning or late at night to get around it

Very big store with plenty of parking and fuel on site too. Extensive selection of products and fresh produce. Clothing and electrical available also. Customer toilets that are clean with disabled facilities included. This store is served by buses direct to the door. Staff were very helpful and polite. Click and collect available. Unfortunately the store is not well sign posted if you are from outside the area.

My first time experience of click and collect, lack of delivery access, rural track means I had to look at best way to achieve weekly shop. My husband is nursed on the bed and cannot be left for long. Excellent service from Kiron , very helpful. Also thanks to the picker only one substitute, good team effort . Thank you,

This Tesco is real well stocked and has a great choice of food and beverage. The store also sells clothes, tv's, and mobile phones. There is a good selection of foods from gluten free and dairy free.

It is a large store with good parking spaces. There is a fuel or petrol station on site.
My only criticism is the road layout driving into the car park, it's wacky and badly designed.

There is cash machines outside plus some recycling points. I don't think from memory there is a car wash service while you shop.

The store is open on Sundays from 10am.

I visit this supermarket at least once a week. All the essentials in one place. Parking is free and always available.

Been going to this Tesco for years when needed. Brilliant staff paired with a brilliant selection. Can't fault them, one of the better superstores if you were to ask me.

Most are friendly in there when ask them where things are on the whole very helpful always there to help to find things always even when there busy😊

Had to return something to the store an electrical item that stopped working spoke with head office who gave us a returns code absolutely awesome customer service from Julie on the customer service desk and manager Jonathan couldn’t have asked for better nothing was too much for them and they got around any problem that cropped up
