Tesco Superstore

Being a person with disabilities and just having had my first visit to Tesco, Callington, I was very pleased with the store.
Firstly, parking is plentiful and easy, including disabled parking. The usual error was made in having this running in a line away from the entrance, when many of us struggle with walking any distance, but this is quite common.
I needed a mobility scooter and the security guard was by the door, so I asked if he was in charge of them, as they were right behind him. He said he'd bring one around to me, but I also needed a quick visit to admire the tiling (also behind him), so he had it ready for me when I emerged.
The scooter itself wasn't the best. I'm very glad to have the use of one and to be able to access it so easily in this store, but it was very slow, the turning circle was not good and the controls took a while to work. However, it's better than nothing by a long way.
Both the youngster on the till and the till supervisor were very friendly and gave great service, especially when one item wouldn't scan and another didn't want to leave its security box!
On returning the mobility scooter, the young (compared to me!) security guard fetched a trolley for my shopping to go into for outside use, and was again very friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely be using this store again when I'm over this way.
I'm off to take advantage of the great fuel price, now!

I am reviewing on behalf of the on line delivery team...Steve and Aiden not only turned up in great time but also managed to help us rescue our car that we managed to get jammed on a verge totally saving our holiday...gives you some faith in humanity. Not sure if this is the right place to review for this but let's hope they get something for being such great humans :)

Large store and can always find what you need from home accessories, clothes and groceries

Such excellent customer services today by the gentleman in the tesco mobile shop who went out of his way to be helpful. Thanks also to the lady on customer services and the manager.

Very friendly staff and good prices with loyalty card.

Wide aisle so easy to social distance. Very good selection of produce. Fruit and veg varied and good quality. Good selection of food stuffs. Sells home products is towels etc. Their own clothes.staff polite and friendly. What's not to like.

It's always nice and clean! Plenty of space to get around and helpful staff, I saw the elephant, last week so I had to take a few photos of it today, before it flew away! Cheers Marie 😀 x

Okay so story time. Me and my Dad both were doing music work at the Royal Cornwall Show, we needed to find a power pack to keep the iPad charged up throughout the day. My Dad walks in and looks in the electronic isle but can't find one so he asks one of the girls there if they do one. They said: "we haven't got them in stock at the moment but wait here"... She walks away and comes back with her own personal powerpack from her car. Just thought it was a really kind thing to do, shows a caring spirit you know? Apparently they've learnt out things of their own to look after people before as well. Whoever it was in the electronic isle, thanks very much!

Was worried, because of current health risks. Excellent experience. Staff are helpful. Social distancing and hygiene measures are in place. Only a few people are allowed in the store at a time. Found it very calm. Will try to use store more often rather than home delivery. Thank you everyone at Tesco Callington!

Shopping today, had to queue, not an issue. The staff are now trying to do what we all should have done in the first place. Shelves are being stack and no obvious panic buying. Thank you to all of the staff at Tesco, Callington.

It's a useful, nicely sized Tescos, I can usually find what I want, though slightly gutted today to miss it on the reduced tins for Quality Street. I like the reduced and clearance sections. It's always handy that this branch has a petrol station.

Thank you Tesco Callington for making our Christmas food shop a fun evening! Great tunes to dance to whilst loading the trolley, (well done DJ) very friendly staff, helpful and everything we needed, even at 9pm.

More like a large metro, but had a good range of products and offers click and collect groceries

Good procedure and layout of store, got everything on list with relative ease. Staff are polite and outgoing, definitely would shop here again.

Shopped there yesterday,and needed some strong cardboard boxes for storage whilst new kitchen being installed.Finn could'nt have been more helpful,even brought them out to the car for us.

Great selection of products good price range, easy parking and friendly staff. Good for a smaller shop if you are on a budget but not good for a big shop if you are watching your pennies
