My husband bought a kayak from Cambridge Kayaks over 2 years ago and recently broke the steering mechanism when on holiday in the Lake District. Richard was extremely helpful in ensuring we received the correct part in the quickest possible time and we cannot fault the efforts that were made to help us get the kayak up and running again for the duration of our holiday. We didn't really know exactly which kayak we wanted and the staff were extremely patient, knowledgeable, and willing to let us explore different options. In price terms, they were on par with or below most online sellers.

The product we purchased was very well packaged, excellent quality and has been in near constant daytime use without issue.

Just received my Cambridge Kayaks Adventure 450 this morning, delighted with it, looks stunning in white. I haven't tried it yet but can't wait, weather permitting. Shipping to N.I. took 11 days which was within the estimated delivery time and the cost of shipping to N.I. (£79.99 at the time of writing) was reasonable given the amount of paperwork and the logistical problems involved.

Also great that it came supplied with a spray deck and a paddle, All in all a great package to get into sea kayaks and provides everything that I'm ever likely to need.

Kayaking is something i have always wanted to try. We liked the reviews that Cambridge Kayaks had received and the look of the kayaks. I received mine on a next day carriage, supper fast and the staff were really helpful. My son got his 2 weeks later because he went through amazon but ordered at the same time as me. I got the trolley but don't use it, they are light enough to carry on one shoulder ,once you get the hang of it. They handle really good and are very stable, excellent on rivers. But i recommend the spray deck in the sea, we got a good soaking from the spray coming over the top as it cuts through the waves. The seat makes all the difference, especially on a long trek. The longest trek so far has been 14 miles on the river Dee, great fun and loved every minute of it.

I got a kayak from Cambridge kayaks a few months ago and it has been brilliant and great quality.
My mum picked it up for me and she said they were friendly and helped her load it in the car.
I received a call from Cambridge kayaks today to say I had accidentally had one of my packages delivered to theirs by mistake somehow. They dropped it off at my work for me to, give it to me in person and I was amazed by their kindness. You couldn't get better customer service from Graham and Richard from Cambridge kayaks !

Drove a long way to see my intended purchase. Was so well worth the drive. Great kayak. Adventure 350. But what impressed me more was the customer service. SUPERB. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Even helped secure 2 kayaks to the roof. They also sell lots of things you need to get it home and try out. Trollies, life jackets, dry bags etc

The best canoe retailer I've used so far. Great price - fast turnaround. Ordered a set of kayak wheels online yesterday afternoon. Just arrived via a cheerful APC driver before 10am the next morning. I am Norfolk so it hasn't gone into a hub but that's still fab. Recommended!

Excellent website, clear ordering process for a quality kayak, reasonably priced and with accessories to make immediately serviceable (package including paddle, spray deck and a rather luxurious seat insert) all very well packaged. Very helpful on the phone after delivery (already reviewed their courier as they were also excellent) for advice with real interest in helping me even though the purchase had already been made. Highly recommended.

My first kayak. Fantastic product at a really good price. Great customer service and speedy delivery. I took it out the other day and the amount of people asking where I got it from was unreal... It was the best looking kayak on the lake. I purchased the Dog Fish kayak, it's a big boat 😁 Nice comfy seat included. The boat travels fast even though it weighs 30kg... Very Happy with it...

Purchased a 2+1 sit on top kayak which has surpassed expectations! The package deal was unbeatable value and the customer service first class. I was kept regularly informed regarding delivery and queries were promptly responded to. The kayak itself is better than I expected; it tracks effortlessly in a straight line and is super stable. Even the trolley is good! It happily coped with me dragging the 33kg kayak on top for the 1 mile round trip to the river. Excellent value, excellent service, highly recommended.
