Got what I wanted on my list & more asked staff to help on a couple of items & we're great directing me to wher they were. Spent more than had intended & got distracted by things partner looked at even he got some work gloves. I have got one of their own brand moisturiser to try, but at £1.49 nothing to loose.

Cheap. Good quality. Sells some brands. Don't need a membership. Lidl is terrible and aldis are near lidls so you shop at aldi not lidl.

1st of August was my first visit to the newly revamped store, must say I was very impressed, love that the veg are behind doors to keep at a nice chilled temperature to avoid turning , plus the shelving is higher in the cabinets making it easier to see what's displayed. Bit disappointed with the middle aisle tool section ,hopefully there will be lots of bargains and selections soon. So pleased the cashier didn't throw everything through at high speed I managed to actually pack and not hold anyone up. I look forward to future visits ☺

Aldi good value £3.89 for 10 small beers, £15.99 for 1.l of whisky. It tastes very nice for a cheap spirits. The wine is ok

Absolutely love Aldi, you can get majority of things in there.
Produce is very fresh, fruit and veg excellent quality and meat is also good quality.
Love the middle aisles, again products are all good quality and can get some bargains.
Shelves are very well stocked each morning.
Much cheaper than other major supermarkets.
Always do my weekly shop here.

Having always shopped at Aldi, this store is a lot better since it was refurbished.
Nice and modern, plenty of checkouts and Self-scans. I know these are not everyone's cup of tea, but I love them.
The one thing I did notice was, the odd time I would pop into Morrisons, Aldi actually have Staff on the shop floor to assist you!! Brilliant!

Popped into the Aldi @Bishop Auckland just reopened today. Lovely bright store plenty of room in the aisles & all the checkouts were open even has self service tils if you only doing small shop.
Guy on the check out was very friendly polite & chatty would recommend this store

Great new shop love the extra choice and plenty of checkouts unlike other supermarkets. Friendly staff. Not enough disabled parking however.

Love the quality of so many products and it's lowest priced store I've ever shopped in. Will make this my regular store from now on.

It's a German super market reasonable price levels with no frills.

Love the variety at Aldi, not always on the food side, but on their weekly specials. Nearly always find something random I could use. Food selection is pretty good as long as you don't want all branded items. Selection can be a bit limited, especially depending on store. Haven't found one yet that stocks cornflour! Also can be confusing when different stores have different offers. Did ask about that once and was told it was down to the manager. I believe if an item is reduced at one store, it should be reduced at all stores. All round good value and now my go to shopping place along with Farmfoods.
