Many thanks for my Colomba for Easter, one for the family and one for work ( I’m trying to educate them) lovely shop with a a good selection and just as importantly friendly and informed staff. I come to this store every now and again to pick up things for my Italian Dad so it’s amazing to have it on my doorstep!!

Wonderful selection of fresh and cupboard authentic ingredients / foods. Fresh Italian coffee is a must and the counter pastries are to die for! Friendly service, lovely people.

So much to choose from. I don’t know what to buy because I like to the sound of it. All. I bought a cheese and tomato sauce and I also bought some basil and garlic pasta some little Amaretto biscuits and a can of mojito drink, which is fantastic, as I don’t like, guess he drinks I will definitely be going there from now on and the lady who runs the store is very very friendly

Went there with my boyfriend, he's from Naples, to do some shopping. Amazing shop, had lots of things he wanted. The owner was very nice and friendly.

I am so thrilled that there is a decent Italian deli in our neighbourhood. Located in the Waterhouse Business Centre, it is bursting with goodies, from panettone, bread and biscuits to cheeses, charcuterie, sauces and antipasti to beverages, coffee, sodas and mineral waters, just about anything you could wish for. The pasta choice is enormous, and proper pasta I might add, of all sizes and for all dishes. If you prefer making your own, they have an excellent selection of pasta flour.

If you love Italian food, and if you like cooking Italian, this is the place to source authentic ingredients.

I'm so glad we have found this Italian food haven in the outskirts of Chelmsford city centre! The shopkeepers are incredibly friendly and have provided very quick delivery during the current times. The selection of produce is incredible (items I have not seen elsewhere even in London deli shops) and not expensive at all and very comparable to supermarket prices. I am glad I can support this local business that oozes all great things about Italy and its people!

It’s ALWAYS a good sign, when an Italian stranger ( my eye specialist) recommends it! Bingo, Italy on my doorstep! Why didn’t I know about it? My husband was at a loss what to buy me for birthday, you guessed it! A haul from this well stocked shop is all I wanted! So so pleased I have discovered this gem, prices very comparable to supermarket, with better and authentic Italian ingredients and pasta! If you are in Chelmsford, take a detour, you will be pleasantly surprised , Marco is a great help too! And don’t forget to stop across the road at Amalfi Bistro for a plate of pasta an Canoli! Bliss!

I recommend you go through the shop to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They can give you advice on how to combine products and cook them. If you cannot come to the shop, there is online shopping, always available and with fast delivery !!!

I went to visit the shop with my mum. We traveled from Southend because an Italian friend of mine recommended some snacks to try out and I love Italy. Since the day we found out about the shop, I was certainly excited for the trip and it was worth it. My mum was curious to try new foods out because she loves culture and Italy is of course famous for it’s food.

When we visited, and I was wowed. I’m also studying Italian as a hobby, so it was a great opportunity to speak it with the staff who are from Italy themselves. I’m not joking when I say it felt like one of the best days of my life. As I love Italy it was lovely to go to an Italian food shop buying new foods I never tried and speak Italian with them. I admit I’m not fluent but the staff were very understanding and helpful, especially when I spoke Italian.

I hope they read this review because they made us feel very welcome and the experience meant a lot to me.

I'm so glad I found Just Italian Food in Chelmsford. It simply saves my trips to Italy for the Italian delicious cake and biscuits. The shop and web site offer a wide range of genuine delicious italian food, most importantly, with very reasonable prices. They also offer next day delivery with no limit spending for addresses in Chelmsford areas. The lovely and friendly staff makes the shopping experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended.

I ordered from justitalianfood.com on wednesday 6th and my items were with me on the morning of Friday 8th, even though I live in the scottish highlands. This shop is a hidden gem for lovers of Italian food and drink....authentic products at reasonable prices with great service and a very helpful staff who willingly share their extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine...be prepared for impassioned debates about best techniques for making pizza ..sauce...coffee and the rest !! They deliver but love going in for the Italian atmosphere and banter...treat yourself to a wonderful Italian experience and support this much needed independent local trader....

A true corner of Italy in Chelmsford! We finally are able to taste our beloved Mulino Bianco biscuits and original fruit juices! A warm and typical Italian chatty welcome from the guys too. Always a pleasure to visit your shop!

Great little shop with a very decent range of Italian foods, liqueurs and wines. Best part are the Sicilian guys who own and work there. Genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Ciao!

Excellent italian products and really competitive prices, the service is even better.
Made an order on the 7th and got my delivery on the 8th where all the major grocery shops had weeks of waiting list.
I will definitely use it again in the future.
