Cool little shop with some gnarly retro toys from the 1970's to present day. A video game library spanning decades and some vintage arcade cabinets!. Highly recommended and super awesome!. Geekster's Paradise!.

I went into this shop to drop off a parcel to be returned, but there was a bit of a problem as I didn't have all the paperwork. The guys that work there couldn't have been nicer though, and I just want to compliment them on being so lovely and making me feel so welcome as I sat and waited for my taxi home. The shop looks amazing, and I'll definitely be dropping in again looking for presents. Thank you guys for being so kind.

I met the owner while at a retro gaming convention in Bicester a few weeks ago. He told me about this shop so I went to check it out with my sister. After discovering a fault with one of the games I bought, they handled it kindly and professionally. The staff are really friendly and know what they’re talking about. The prices are fair, the quality of the products are great and the range of products sold is amazing. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into ANYTHING retro.

Popped in today and met the owner. Nice chap, certainly knows his onions. As he put it, the sort of store I would have wanted when I was 9 (and still do!) Will definitely be visiting again.

Very few places like the Toy Planet - my kids absolutely love it!
It is so nice to see such enthusiasm and passion from all of the staff there.
They were all so welcoming and friendly and you can see they really enjoy their job, which is lovely!

They host lots of different events to try and get everyone involved in something- we headed down to the Pokemon Swap Shop over the summer hols and my kids had a brilliant time.

Would recommend 🙌

I visited the store for the first time today with my son and was really impressed. My son was VERY excited particularly with the individually sold Pokemon cards. The staff are super friendly and very helpful, creating a lovely welcoming ambience in-store. The store itself is like an Aladdin's cave with a great range of products. There's also a Lego station and a very cool little arcade area which can be hired for parties!. We will certainly be returning as we had a lovely experience.

I don't come into this shop very often, if honest it's just not my 'thing' - but my husband is a lego Star Wars fiend so when buying something for him, Toy Planet Wantage is my first thought.

They are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and super helpful. If I've been looking for something specific and they don't have it/ can't get it then they will offer advice on where else to try. They are definitely my go-to for anything lego related!!

Fantastic shop and brilliant staff. If you are a collector or just want to bring back those childhood feels, then this is the place to go! Always an excellent eclectic mix of stock from old, retro, and the latest trend👍🏼👍🏼

Good value and a fantastic selection of retro gaming stuff and retro toys. I bought a very nice PS3 and I could have spent an hour just browsing. They are moving to a bigger shop in Wantage in January which is where my directions sent me first! Shops of this nature are few in number and it's well worth making the trip to check it out. They also have a website you can check stock on and the staff said you can just ring and enquire and they will put aside items for you.

Really enjoy visiting Toy Planet. They have a great selection of modern and Retro, Toys, collectibles, and vintage games.

They store also sells modern new game releases such as the new pokemon game (At time of writing).

Toy planet supports the local gaming community along with a small reto arcade, board game nights, and events such as pokemon swap.

Always love going to the Toy Planet. My son had his birthday party there on the gaming machines and he said it was the best ever! Thank you Steve and your wonderful staff for making it a fantastic couple of hours for him and his friends. And so easy for me😀 I highly recommend.

Great shop for gaming and I loved the lego pick n mix idea. Owner very amiable and they have quiet times twice a week for those that have issues with crowds and noise. Disabled friendly as no problem getting my mobility scooter round.

Great place, been here 2-3 times and had a lot of fun each time. Even just to look around it's great as there is so much stuff. Love the all star wars and ghostbusters items in particular, my girlfriend also loves going too, she gets pokemon cards. I'm also extremely happy with my rc R2-D2 and love having him as part as the family lol. Friendly staff.

Best place to get all my Pokemon cards and games. Steve and the team are always happy to help and so friendly! Also they have a great vintage collection of toys and games! Highly recommend popping in!
