This store nearly always has that "odd" little thing that you can't get anywhere else. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The staff here are always friendly, almost without fail. You'll often find people asking which this or that and even when it's busy staff are helpful.

It opens at the weekend and is surprisingly good for DIY essentials, especially adhesives and paint. No it isn't B&Q, but often smaller sizes are available, and pricing is broadly in-line, sometimes better.

Unlike one of the multiples, there are also a good range of homewares upstairs which has saved a trip to a supermarket.

This shop has everything one needs for home and garden. Excellent staff ask any advice and they will know.

A really useful, traditional hardware store. It'll save you a trip out of town if you just need small household/gardening goods, materials for little decorating jobs or odds and ends for a minor repair or project. The size of the store means they can't carry a huge variety of products but that's just fine for what it is. Friendly staff too, if you approach them in the right way.

It's taken me a long while to actually send in a review about this fantastic little shop in Romsey - but here it is now! I have lived in Romsey for 6 years and can honestly say, hands down, this is the BEST shop. What makes it the best? Firstly it's the staff. Every one of them is so knowledgeable and they bend over backwards to help you. Their customer service is second to none and secondly, every time I need something I think to myself "I wonder if Romsey Home Hardware do it ?" And everytime they do, i.e. a particular tool, furniture paint etc. Recently Lindsey helped with an email enquiry I made about furniture paint as I couldn't get my usual one and she responded to my email and called me and was really helpful. The Manager, Steve, knows everything about everything and has so much useful advice, but I must say all the staff are equally as brilliant. So, thank you very much for the service and products you have provided over the years and every shop should provide a service as good as yours.

Romsey Home Hardware, little shop with everything you need! Set in the high street this is a gem of a shop. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and know where every single thing is, no hesitation and they stock so much from kettle whistles to baking trays.
They will mix colour in paint, advise on DIY and sell you a toaster nothing is too much trouble.

Having just moved to Romsey this shop has been a lifesaver. Several times I’ve needed a cable, a tool, a lightbulb, etc as I sort out my house. They’ve had what I needed every time and are extremely friendly and helpful

Went to this shop last week what lovely staff was welcomed by a lovely man asked what I wanted pointed me in right direction of the brooms and lightbulbs to be served by a lovely lady whi was very helpful and had lovely smiles thankyou was a pleasure to shop in your shop xxx cazz
