I visited on Friday looking for a Poinsettia.
Sue pointed me in the right direction and cld nt of been more helpful. She went above and beyond until we found the perfect plant. I cld of hugged her. There are still some nice people in this world. Thank you Sue.

Lisa, a Waitrose partner, has just gone above and beyond and deserves recognition. The store was sold out of the baby formula I use and she personally went to the chandler's ford branch after hours to collect a case and delivered it to the Romsey store so it was waiting for me at the front desk the next morning. This store has always had brilliant customer service but this was better than I could ask for. Thanks so much!

This is my girlfriends favourite place to go to.

Everything is nice, the bags are usually very heavy as I’m bringing them to the car.

My girlfriend is unstoppable in any shopping experience and Romsey Waitrose is no exception.

Well organised one way in and out. Great selection of organic food. Other customers not so aware of “space”. Lady on the roll made the shopping experience by being so lovely and caring towards my daughter.

The experience starts with the security staff employed during the covid crisis. You honestly could not have a nicer group of people. The trolleys are sanitised between each customer. The staff are all lovely. And the whole shop has an air of cleanliness and freshness. Highly, highly recommended.

Really nice store, friendly staff with ample parking (free for 2 hrs). COVID-19 safety measures were excellent with staff sanitising trolleys as i departed. I visited this store while on holiday in the new forest, everything was easy to find and i managed to get everything on my list with only one exception, very happy. I will be a regular forest visitor and I will definitely be back to shop at Waitrose.

Car park reasonably empty payment is required but if shopping in Waitrose £5.00 gives you 2 hours free.
Store very well stocked on the shelves with several offers and reductions

This store is busy, but less crowded and stressful than cheaper supermarkets in the area. Fresh produce is generally (though not always) of a higher quality, but you do often pay more for it -- sometimes a lot more. There's always space in the car park, but you'll need to spend £5 in-store during the day, which may be a problem if the item you want isn't in stock. (In the evening, parking is unrestricted. Go then instead, or do the healthy thing and walk.) Freshly baked wholemeal bread isn't the best you've ever tasted, but it's half the price you'll pay in the local baker's shop, and the quality is perfectly reasonable. There's a good choice of decent wines, as you'd expect at Waitrose. Staff go out of their way to help if you have a question, and always seem pleased to be of service.

Went shopping for a few items. Long queue but moved fairly quickly. Once inside plenty of room to walk down aisles. Finished shop and outside within 15 minutes.

Update 2022: along with many stores Waitrose are obviously having stock issues as things like frozen veg are often completely empty. But the staff continue to be friendly and helpful.
I must also say they offer a huge range (compared to many) of vegan and vegetarian foods, only place in Romsey you get choice. One annoying thing is any set meal deal always lacks choice, or like the valentine set meal no option at all for a vegetarian, one vegan but that is beyond disgusting (IMHO), main course.

It's Waitrose so what can you say! Friendly staff, clean and good choice. My only annoyance is they always seem to have huge re-fill trolley's in the isle and normally just in front of what I want!

Ive shopped at the Waitrose Romsey store for many years and have found all staff to be extremely helpful. The store is extremely tidy and clean. I tend to buy organic produce and the store has always got the products in stock. The fruit and veg last a long time which means it doesn’t get wasted as it’s gone off but all the foods gets eaten. The new range of Waitrose cleaning products are great too, much cheaper than branded products, plant based and therefore better for the environment. I’ll certianly continue shopping there. Many thanks

Considering we had to queue to get into Waitrose we didn't have to wait too long & once inside it was just as good.
It made a nice change to go to a different shop to get my shopping.

A reasonably comfortable place to shop (in these times). Staff helpful and range of products large. Some prices are OK too!

friendly staff, clean, good quality products and waitrose one and mywaitrose availability. allows orders to be sent there from john lewis stores for local pick up. good meat, cheese and fish counters with helpful staff!

MyWaitrose free coffee and newspapers can be claimed at this store with the only requirement being a purchase for the coffee and a select value of purchases for the newspaper. See in store for details.

The coffee itself it quite good but not outstanding. Bakery has dropped in quality after the re-fit of the store but does now offer a wider range of baked goods. They now also do Waitrose brand pizza which I have yet to try.

One of the lower reviews mentions tables outside and lowered the score due to that, the outside tables are covered from rain but should it be cold there ARE inside tables and chairs.
