First time I used this post-office in this shop and counter guy couldn't be more helpful sorting out a signed delivery I wanted sending having not sent one before

Always helpful, never had a problem 🙂

I'd be grumpy too on around £8 an hour dealing with the public, cut him some slack he means well

I hate having to go in here, especially if the gentleman with the glasses and beard is serving. He is very abrupt boarding on rude. If you get awkledgement that you are standing there that's rare and almost never a please or thank you. Customer service needs lots of work.

Worst experience I have ever had in any post office! Man was very obnoxious! Definitely would not go there again or recommend! He certainly did not get married for his personality! And he's the manager... Treat your customers with a smile and they will treat you well back!

A simple grasp of basic manners can go a miss with some, but for a post office counter worker, who from looking at the comments below is also the manager, now that's something else.

The rest of the shop is pretty good.

Very disappointed today; went in to get a paper, someone else was waiting to be served, the woman behind the counter was on the phone, not acknowledging customers or attempting to end the conversation so she could deal with customers. In the end, I put my newspaper back and left.

Went to get electric as I only have £3 left on emergency and post a parcel and they are shut I’m so glad I quit when I did it’s shocking
