Always organised and reliable. Never had an issue and had deliveries there a load of times.

Absolute STUNNING. I asked them if they knew big JD himself and I was greeted with a GAY response reading ,’ no’ which was distraught at and it bought a tear to my eye . Jd then walked out from the counter as he was playing a game of hide and seek with Jessica bigbollox, and was found. Then he pleasant greeted with a can of burgers and a plate of tomato a traditional Jd snack. Every time I attend this BREATHETAKING spiritual shop it shocks me even more how they are still in business but the food and drink is very welcoming and the staff are rude apart from big JD joking they are lads.

Brilliant shop gd prices and nice people to talk to there very helpful and I have never had a problem in the shop when collecting parcels or sending one bk would be gd if they had user eats or just eat for some people that can't get out the house keep up the gd work guys

Basic off licence shop, staff are somewhat rude and discouraging. Offering basic services for everyone.

This place definitely exists, they're friendly and have some good deals; loads on alcohol if you need it; rest is pretty standard for an off license - you could buy a late night ready meal and snacks so it's good by me!

Wish I had checked the reviews before getting a click and collect order delivered here. Got all the confirmation emails and collection codes telling me the parcel was ready, the shop told me they didn't have it and to come back the next day, despite the GPS showing the driver delivered the parcel that day. When I went back the next day they said the parcel might be there but I had to come back after 4pm to see. If they don't want to handle deliveries, they shouldn't offer the service.

Absolutely awful place to get a parcel from. Not sure how it’s still running. People in the shop are completely useless

Ive never really had a problem before, but i went in today and had the worst experience. Have a parcel from vinted that needs sending off, a bloody heavy one to. The guy was incredibly grumpy and told me that its 'full' which is BS! I then asked politely where the nearest yodel drop off was and he rudely told me 'dont know, Google it'. The fact that there isnt another one in the area isnt the point. Definitely going to try to avoid using them in future 🙄

Had a parcel delivered there and tried to collect twice. First time they said the computers were not working because of the cold weather! Second time they could not find it. I had to search through a pile of parcels on the floor in the middle of the shop. No sign of my parcel. Will not be getting any parcels delivered there again.

I had a package dropped off to them and Yodel were unable to collect it because JD FOOD AND WINES "didn't have the package" despite all the tracking receipts. I can see other people have issued with packages from here they're clearly getting robbed by the staff.

Man was rude and told me I wasn't allowed to collect my parcel even though I could see my parcel at the top of the pile and that I had to come back between 530pm and 10pm to collect it. Never had this problem before

They wouldn’t let me have my delivery even though I came all the way to pick it up with my two little baby’s. Really rude and unhelpful. Avoid

Don't take a parcel in there for drop off.. Firstly the guy argued about whether he could print off a label and after finally accepting he could. He printed it and didn't bother scanning it and argued that he didn't have too so the parcel wasn't picked collected for 3 days.. 2 hours of extra effort on the phone to sort

Joke of a place. Had the misfortune to need to pick up a UPS package from here. I was told "No no. Internet problem. Come back in an hour and a half". As it is a 10-mile round-trip from home, I tried to have a discussion but the guy would only repeat the same phrase over and over. I'm fairly sure that there was no issue but he just couldn't be bothered to go and look for the package. The next day I went back and there was another guy working there and it "only" took him 15 minutes to find my package. Baffles me why you would have a shop if you plainly hate the public.

DON'T USE THEM FOR COLLECT PLUS.

Miserable people, awful service - they are unorganised, untidy and incompetent.

Despite the package being signed by the store, they spent only 2 minutes trying to find the package. JD food & wine then claimed they had lost my package and told me to claim from the supplier - but in actual fact, they just couldn't be arsed to look for it. I came back the next day to look for it myself and sure enough, it was on the shelf in front of them.

They were unapologetic and made me wait 15 mins, despite being the first in line and knowing I was there the day before.

This was the first time I have ever used collect plus or this store. I will never use their store or the collect plus services again! I advise you do the same.

Do not use this place for click and collect, two parcels I was expecting have gone missing despite being signed for by the store. Either they are incompetent or dodgy. Unfortunately I have to give them one star as it won't allow me to give a zero rating but you have been warned.

Worst customer service ever. Really rude guy. Always on his phone, despite queue of customers. Refuses to take parcels in and randomly closes the shop during opening hours. He’s in the back doing something…. Real disgrace

Absolutely terrible. Appalling customer service sits on phone on calls. Don't seem to care. Refuses to let me post item as it's full so now am trapped with item I don't need and can't return. Always say collect plus isn't working. generally poor. Don't recommend. Please go somewhere else if you can
