Drežnik (Old Town)

Nice run- hike from our hotel. Restoration work in progress. We were there very early morning so we didn’t climb the tower- nice area for a picnic

A beautiful little ruin situated above a river gorge with wonderful views across the hills. This is so photogenic and very easy to access by car, with a few free parking spots. There are public footpaths that lead along above the top of the gorge and about half a kilometre west a path descends in to the gorge itself. If you want somewhere to sip a beer and watch the sun go down behind the hills, this is simply perfect.

This place is peaceful and beautiful. Hardly any people around, super quiet and views are just stunning. I highly recommend to stop visit and go on a little trail down the canyon. It is not a hard hike. If you are not sure where to find it, just ask the locals, they are very friendly.

Nice fortress settled right above the canyon of Korana River. Several walking & biking trails around the castle. Don't hesitate to explore some of them to find beautiful viewpoints.

Nice place. Local activists are trying to rebuild Stari grad. Some parts are already finished. Perfect idea. Recommend to visit if you are not far away from this area.

The tower itself is unfortunately closed, but it's still worth a visit. You can just enjoy nature and even walk down to the Korana river, which is the continuation of the waterfalls.

The view is stunning, you can take a little tour down to the creek, or go up to the tower. Bear in mind, that the tower is open from June to September!

Great food, lovely ambience. Fresh seafood and great service. Its not so near to the old town but worth the walk after a full tummy.

Would definitely recommend going here. Nice secluded ruin with great insight in history and very beautiful. Whent here just for 10min but stayed for more than half an hour.
