Isler Bakery, Bistro and Kitchen

A fantastic little friendly coffee house/breakfast place with a great atmosphere, and loveley food. They also offering healthy breakfast, like omlette and avocado sourdough toast, or poached eggs, I was lucky enough to give it a try. I have not seen any options for Brunch, but I may just missed it (i was in a rush). If you are come and visit Esztergom, deffinietly worth to pop in and give it a try.

Good place to have a breakfast. Waiters speak English/Hungarian. Tasty, light and heavy dishes. They also sold a lunch in the afternoon. Breakfast: 8-12am, Lunch: 12-16am

This is our go-to Saturday breakfast and coffee place in the area (unfortunately there is no wide selection to choose from but this doesn't diminish the merits of Isler). They serve excellent coffee and the breakfast offer is more than adequate. My favorite dish is their eggs Benedict (served on toasted croissant instead of English muffin).
Also worth mentioning that this is the only place in a 20 km radius where we can buy proper sourdough bread.

We were wandering around the old town and found this lovely cafe on the main street. The coffee was great (i had a flat white) and we had the pleasure to try the green pesto focaccia as well, which was fantastic. The barista, who most probably was the owner of the place was super kind. I would recommend this place to everyone with all of my heart.

We stopped at this little restaurant on our way back to the train station. It is a bit away from the main restaurants on the square but definitely worth the walk. There is only seating for maybe 20 people but the food was fantastic - great flavors skillfully put together and well presented. There were also a couple of tempting desserts on offer - one of which my wife couldn't resist and enjoyed very much.

Excellent ham and eggs breakfast plate with veggies and a bun. The staff if friendly and the place is casually, but nicely furnished. We have to come back to try their burgers, we heard they are great!

Kind and caring service, excellent selection of both food and drinks, although timing matters, as they can run out of those delicious baguette sandwiches.
