Csülök Csárda

Honestly, everything was very very delicious! We had goulash (a bit spicy as others said), filet mignon, one of the traditional ham dishes, as well as a traditional dessert. I would definitely recommend it to friends who are visiting the region!
We paid around 50 EUR with tip for the food, along with water and 2 beers.

My only complaint is regarding the service - we felt the staff a bit cold, however, it seems people in Hungary are a bit distant and we are not user to it, coming from a very “warm” place (Eastern Europe).

Amazing food at a reasonable price, in a great location. Definitely recommended for great value and no fluff.

The welcome is not the warmest, especially if compared to what we received in Budapest. The waiters understand English and also some italian, however, they are not so keen on talking.

Food is simply amazing, especially if you like spicy food (we had the Danube mixed fish soup and the Drunken knuckle of ham from csanak). As desserts we had Dumplings from Somlo and Milk pie of Misze with home made jam. They were delicious.

Total bill 9500, including an optional service of about 10%.

The food is absolutely delicious! There are many options to choose from. The service was fast.

Took home some goulash and it was so good that we immediately regretted not getting more.
As the kind waiter said, it does make me want to go back.

Extremely good food and big portion.
The service and personal extra nice and clean too.
Location is awesome, very near of city turistic points.
Compare to what you get and what fast you get, it's not a price place.

The food was delicious, the portions were very big, a baby friendly place - they have a swaddling table with a musical mobile at the ceiling and baby chairs, the floor at the terrace was also carpeted so babies can crawl. The waiter was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Absolute favorite; best service ever! Food just tops it! Truly can recommend everyone who likes their stomach! Traditional cuisine, tasty and rich portions. Not expensive at all; you get what you pay for! Kudos to the Csülök Csárda Team!

Gulyás was delicious and the service was good,there is also menü for childrens .The place calm and suitable to families.We got the service in the open garden but inside also very authentic ,wc was clean. I like the place. I will definitely drop by again. 🇭🇺🇹🇷

We visited this Csarda last Monday. We where recommended by a good friend. And he was right. Very nice atmosphere, kind staff, and wonderful delicious food. It’s a must go if you are in Esztergom.

Brilliant service, lovely food! The portions are rather big and reasonably priced. There are excellent gluten-free options. Would recommend it to anyone!

Original Hungarian place. Friendly people, very good vines and beer and the food is of course excellent. I recommend the goulash soup, just be careful with the spices! :)

The best choice if ever been in Estergom. I've been there in August and i found out this place near the basilica church of Estergom. There is airconditioning inside and the food is delicious! The best of all is the fine service and especially THE professional waitor, who was asking about the quality of foods, if we needed antyhing else, etc, well done.!
