If you can appreciate some good food, that’s your place!
I ate at the Sörpince several times and I was always pleased.
Their food is really delicious, the service is lightning fast and professional.
The portions are good, and tasty so you don’t have to worry about being hungry after dining.

Me and 5 of my friends choose different foods and all of it was delivered in about 10 minutes together with some fine draft beer, while the restaurant was pretty crowded.

I advise you to make a reservation in advance since the place is quite popular (for a reason…), so you can enjoy some local delicacies.

Thanks for the waiters and the for the chefs. I hope I’ll have the chance to return to this place.

Oh, and you don’t want to miss the deer soup, trust me.

Best food in Gyula by far, very good prices and overall service, short waiting times, friendly waiters. We ate there 4 days in a row and tried a lot of different dishes, everything was great!

It is a nice cellar with very polite waiters, very present. Food was excellent we have a deer soup with taragon and a plate for two, with duck and poultry with fries and vegetables, but was more than enough for four.

Incredibly fast service, excellent food and reasonable prices. We paid about 50 EUR for four dishes and drinks. Wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night.

The food is great, it has exceeded our expectations, we had an evening in which we served a chicken specialty filled with cream cheese and dried plums served alongside an Indian rice and vegetables properly sipped. I also served a white wine of local tradition, light and good at a very good price. The price for the food served was a very good one, as we served for a meal in 4, 4 special menu menus, plus a bottle of wine and a dessert, all about 35 - 40 euros in the conditions where for a meal of this kind without desert I paid in Vienna about 80 euros.

Very good food, the cook should only add some souce to every dish they serve because the meet really needs it.
We had a good duck and a great pork knuckle.

I have tried the iron plate rosted chicken with grilled camambert & salad and also the turkey breast with broccoli & rice.
Both very exceptional!!!

If you like the Hungarian dishes you will like it. Huge portion and fast service.

Tastes absolutely amazing, staff is nice. The town centre is beautiful, that with the moody terrace make for really impressive surroundings

An excellent place.The food is really good.

All very nice and comfortable with amazing service. Bit food portions, a variety of choices and a nice view. Maybe the only issue is that they don't keep open till later but everything closes at the same time in the city so can't complain.

We just had dinner in this restaurant and we cannot have any negative to issue. Food was excellent, in usual Hungarian size (big) and all served faster than expected (we were 9)… fully deserved 5 stars both for food and for staff.

later edit: as we enjoyed the first evening, we went for the second... the only small difference was the waiting time but still acceptable. Food? was again delicious!!!

Excellent value for price. Food was a little bit below overall experience, but very tasty and I was really satisfy and will come back. No need to change anything, if you take prices into consideration.

One of the best and biggest restaurant in Gyula. Very helpful, friendly and fast staff, excellent foods and drinks. Very good location. Highly recommended to visit! Parking near, creditcard accepted.

Delicious meal for not super expensive price next to a beautiful square. Can be really crowded in the evenings as it's very popular though.
