Hani Hideaway

This was one of our top stays while we were in Bali! From the moment we docked in Gili Air, we knew we made the right choice in staying here. A gentleman met us at the harbor and helped carry our bags to the hotel. We were then met with a welcome drink and cold towel and was able to enjoy the pool while our room was still getting ready. The room (Hani suite) was perfect for us. Lots of room, nice tub/shower, and comfortable bed. The cake upon arrival for our honeymoon was a nice surprise. We opted to join the Family Dinner on Tuesday which was worth it. Got to meet a lovely family from Switzerland and enjoy dinner and wine into the night. Such a cute, small resort to stay and would stay here again

My husband and I spent two nights at Hani Hideaway. A true gem! We were met with so much warmth from the staff and Winda helped us to settle in very quickly providing us with all the information we needed to orientate ourselves around Gili Air. The property is centrally located, just a 5-10 minute walk from the boat drop off point and easily accessible to all the eateries and facilities in the eastern and southern sides of the island. Vibe is very homey (we were greeted with ‘welcome home!’ every time we stepped through the entrance) and rooms are clean. We enjoyed the food in the property - clean, wholesome and tasty. Would definitely recommend this home away from home!

We just fell in love with this gorgeous place! From the moment we arrived the staff were so attentive and made us feel so welcome. The room is simply gorgeous with so many beautiful items inside that instantly put you in a relaxed island vibe. We joined the Friday 'Family Dinner' where we met some other guests and were surprised by the chef - dish after dish of the most delicious mix of local flavours, grilled seafood and meat, vegetable curries and wine to match! The next day we relaxed poolside with a book before taking one of the bicycles for an explore around the island. The location of Hani Hideaway is central so it was easy to find our way back without asking for directions. After a little shopping in the lobby for some holiday reminders we unfortunately had to head back to the mainland. We will definitely come back, next time for a longer stay. We highly recommend you stay here when you visit Gili Air!

My husband and I stayed in the Moon suite at Hani Hideaway for 5 nights with our 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Words can't describe how beautiful this place is! It's a private, intimate and family feel resort where your every need is taken care of. The Moon suite was spacious and comfortable and they provided a cot for our toddler and with direct pool access we were all set! As parents, we wanted something that had a villa feel to it but with service so that we could easily order food if the kids were hungry and for us adults order cocktails or have a late dinner after the kids' bedtime. Hani Hideaway has it all for families. The staff are so friendly and attentive and really became like family members to us. The other guests were very accepting of our children too which made us feel so welcome in this small, quiet hideaway. Location wise it's very central - only a short walk from the Wharf and you're greeted by a staff member on arrival and with free bike hire you can easily explore the island.
The family dinner is such a unique idea and is one to not be missed! We loved meeting the other guests and the food and drinks were delicious.
Thank you to all the staff we met at Hani Hideaway. You made our trip to Gili Air truly memorable. We hope to come back some day.

Such a lovely hidden gem! Huge rooms, comfy beds and well decorated. They have great air con too!
Pool and outdoor space is very pretty and relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious too.

All I can say is wow. Hani hideaway was the perfect place for us to stay for 2 days, we can't fault it at all. Staff are welcoming and make you feel like family. The hotel is small but extremely well maintained and clean. The breakfast had a great selection and was very nice. I would definitely come back here and would recommend it to anyone.

Hani Hideaway exceeded expectations on every level! From the stunning design throughout the property to the exceptional service, our stay was an absolute delight. Here's what truly impressed us:

* **Exquisite Design & Comfort:** The beautiful design creates a cozy and private atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Little touches like beach essentials, yoga mats, and a natural mosquito repellent elevated the experience.

* **Impeccable Service:** The staff truly goes the extra mile, especially Johnny who provided exceptional service. Daily housekeeping, delicious breakfasts, and a great drink selection ensured a comfortable stay.

* **Unique Relaxation Spaces:** The open mezzanine above reception offered a surprise haven for morning yoga and movie nights. The entire complex exudes a sense of tranquility.

**A Few Minor Suggestions:**

* While everything was perfect, a subtle mold smell might emanate from the air conditioning.
* A designated drying area for swimwear and delicates would be a minor improvement.

**Overall, a 9/10 Experience**

Than you very much for the incredible hospitality. Hani Hideaway is a beautiful boutique hotel. We loved to swim around the mango tree and to chatter with the friendly staff. They clean the room twice a day and look at so many details like changing the bed stuff to let us have the best holidays possible.

What an absolute gem. Best place to stay during our 5 week trip in Indonesia. Service and kindness of the staff, pool, rooms and breakfast were all amazing but the greatest thing that stood out for us was the family dinner which was hosted by the owners of Hani Hideaway for staying quests (and some who came in just for the family dinner). Such a memorable evening with excellent food and beverages coupled with stories and lovely conversations from and with everyone on the long table. Would go back and some day will go back.

Everything is just right, from the interior to the staff to the location to the atmosphere, just everything. They thought about every detail. As soon as you enter the hideaway, you get a very warm welcome by the staff. They trully make you feel at home! They even turn on your cosy bedroom lights for you. The hideaway is so nice that we did not want to leave the place for day trips :) We met some great people and we recommend to join the family dinner. Also worth mentioning is the great cook they have. If we could give 10 stars, we would! This is the place to be!

Not far away from the beach and the harbor. The staff was super friendly and we got many useful recommendations for activities around the islands. The staff even prepared a special menue for my husband's birthday which was reallylovel!. They also offered yoga classes that we really enjoyed. The room was amazing, really cozy and clean and we received a heartwarming welcoming! Thank you for the hospitality❤

Lovely place, always greeted by two cute cats. Staff are always smiling and friendly. It's in the center of Gili Air, so it's easy to walk around, clean and nice to cool off in the small but pretty pool. The breakfast is also very good.

"Welcome home" is what you hear everytime when you enter this beautiful gem in the center of Gili Air. At some places it's just a phrase, but in Hani hideaway the whole team is dedicated to this message. After only one day you feel like you belong to this lovely place and to the lovely people working there. The atmosphere created through a lot of charming details and perfect service is outstanding. We absolutely recommend this place if you stay a few nights at Gili Air and we are looking forward to come back again. Thank you to the whole Team at Hani Hideaway! ❤

Hani felt like a second home. Once you open the door to this gem, you don't only find a beautifully designed location with a lot of efford for details, you also find one of the nicest staff you ever met. It is smalltalk, it is cosy, it was what we were looking for. And yes, also the food is great. I really liked the (iced) smoothy bowl for breakfast, very refreshing. To keep it short: Hani is the place for you in Gili Air. We will return!!!

We had a lovely stay! The staff is so genuine, we felt so welcomed right from the beginning and by each staff member. The property and rooms are beautiful, every small detail is well-thought. It was so nice to hear about the process of building the hotel, it felt like they really had their hearts in it. Location is very good, close to the harbour.

The perfect hideaway. Great service, felt so secure and the feeling was really welcoming. The food was great, huge breakfast of your own choice, the hotel area is small and cozy and very clean.

Staff will help you with anything you need and also arrange snorkelingtrips, picnics etc. We really loved every second of our 5 nights here.

We spent 10 wonderful days around Christmas at Hani Hideaway. Place is a real Oasis in the Gili Air. Staff and hosts were utmost friendly and service was excellent. Breakfast was individual and stunning. New concept of Family dinner was a wonderful ways of getting to know your fellow guests in many countries. Gili Air as such with lovely horses and shops is worth visiting. Thanks and high recommendation for Hani Hideaway!

Hani was such an amazing and comfy place. The rooms and the whole place were really nicely decorated and the staff was very nice and friendly. The pool, even though a bit small, was super, you can swim around a big mango tree. 😍 And the coffee and food so delicious 👌

We had such a beautiful time at Hani Hideaway. The whole team made it such a magical stay. Loved the breakfast every morning and also how beautifully the rooms were made up twice a day. It was such a highlight of our trip to Gili Air. Can’t wait to be back one day.
