The Kayana Beach Lombok

We absolutely loved our stay it was like a dream and the staff were so sweet & kind treating us like royalty.
The restaurant views are incredible and the food is amazing and i can not forget how amazing the coffee is ! Actually the best coffee i have ever had.
Valentine's Day dinner was like out of a Disney movie we just could not belive it !
There are no words for this review. We absolutely loved our time at Kayana Beach and we will cherish our memories here for ever ❤🏝

I love everything about this hotel.
We stayed there six nights and it was a really nice time.
It is very comfortable, stylish and clean. The hotel is beside a beach - there is a perfect snorkeling possibilities direct from the beach - I have seen hundreds of different colorful fishes and even a turtle there.
The hotel's staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. Many thanks to the team that cleaned our room (unfortunately, I don't remember their names), they did their work precisely and untroubled.
There is a restaurant where breakfasts are served, and you can also have your dinner there - it is on the top of the hill and has a breathtaking view on the lagoon.
The hotel has mango trees, and we got sweet and very tasty mango direct from the tree for free.
The only thing that bothered us was the noise from the mosque. They start approximate at four in the morning, and it continues all day intermittently. You need to consider it before going there.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at the Kayana Beach Resort between Christmas and New Year in 2023. The villa with private pool and beach view was amazing - beautifully furnished (good bed, too!) and wonderful bathroom. Service was next level - from arriving to leaving and everything in between. Warm wishes especially to the restaurant team, they made sure that we were well taken care of, they were all so kind - thank you Gayatri, Nora, Sahrir and everyone else for making us feel so welcome! My husband and I are vegan and despite few vegan options on the menu, they were very happy to accommodate! We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant with no problems. Truly very welcoming to vegan guests - strongly recommended. The view at the restaurant is something else!!

They provide snorkel gear for snorkeling on the beach which has a beautiful reef. I also had a Balinese massage at the spa on the premises which was also excellent. The 80 minutes flew by. Overall, a stay we won't be likely to forget! Truly relaxing after a very hectic year. Very grateful we were able to stay at the Kayana Beach hotel, if/when we return to Lombok we'll be sure to stay here again.

Really loved staying in Kayana, even though it was only 1 night. The room was great, service as well. Only thing that can be improved maybe is the TV, since it is not smart TV yet and the connection was not great.

Other that that, this was a very peaceful place to stay. Very recommended for honeymoon and couples.

Loved that it is also Muslim friendly with Islamic music played at the lobby and qiblat sticker in the room.

Khairul was our reception and he was super helpful. Definitely will come back again!

We have just spent a most enjoyable week at the Kayana Resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast in the restaurant is fantastic. Superb pastries, a variety of eggs and yummy fresh fruit and juice. Nora, in the restaurant gave us wonderful service each morning. Dinner at night was equally as good and the cocktails were great🍹. The chef was fantastic and prepared delicious meals every day we were there. We also enjoyed the very relaxing massage in the spa. Many thanks to Astin, Nora, Rudi, Wayan, Awan, Harald and all the staff whose names we can't remember. You were all fantastic. The reception staff were all helpful and professional. All the gardeners and cleaning staff were also very friendly. We hope to return some day soon. Gayle and Andrew from Australia

We had an exceptional evening at the hotels Blues restaurant for dinner. Great customer service by Sahrir and Defri, they always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the meals . The food was great and I commend the waiters and chef for the experience. Will come again.

Stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our time here.

Staff were helpful, food was great, and the location is exactly what we wanted (nice a quiet, but still easy enough to travel to Senggigi and the port for the Gili islands).

Will would certainly visit again.

Kayana Resort exceeded my expectations. The rooms were large and cleaner than any other beach style villa I've stayed in. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom which I loved.
The spa was amazing and Nora was probably the best masseuse I've ever experienced.
The staff are exceptional. Their kindness and helpfulness is why we will be returning again. Sahrir from the restaurant was always smiling and agreeable to any random requests from my son.
It's a short speed boat ride to Gili Islands where you can snorkel and experience a more lively vibe. We were happy to return to our quiet retreat at Kayana at the end of the day.
It has a small, boutique and peaceful atmosphere. There is a small section of the beach reserved for guests but really easy access to the Gili's for a beach day.
Usually the remote resorts where you're 'stuck' have average food because where else can you go? The food choices, presentation and taste were amazing and the restaurant setting is stunning.
I can't thank the amazing staff enough and look forward to bringing more of my family back.
Sure there are many options of resorts but I will return to Kayana for the people, clean villas and food.

The resort and villas are excellent location is a little far from the main areas in lombok, but if you're after a quiet getaway in a lovely villa, this place is great
I will mention a little lack of information from the hotel regarding local things to do they are fairly new so I'm sure this will improve

You can see three gilis from here and you can swim directly to the beach.
There's much snorkeling spots here.
Great food and breakfast too.

Omg, the resort is pretty, the staff are very friendly and nice, no language barrier because we are Malaysian, staff very helpful ! Super like their service. Great location to Gili. T & compare stay in Gili T, here is more quiet , luxury. Restaurant have a nice view and food are big portion (to me). Corals just by the beach and if you lucky enough you will see turtle.

I'm writing this review on the last day of my stay in The Kayana and I am already missing all of these people. The villas are very clean, the food is always hot, they have a wide range of local food but also the continental ones. Poached eggs were my favorites for breakfast as well as seared salmon for dinner. The eggs were perfectly prepared - not each chef could do it so well even in Europe. The nearby beach is connected with local village - but those people are also very nice and kind even tough they know English a little. You can always find a way to communicate. You can see Lombok from inside thanks to them. And now I would like to thank especially to Muh Yanuar Mukhtur who made our stay an unforgettable experience from the very beginning. He took us from the airport and made us feel safe and comfortable, talking all the way about many interesting things, current situation - he was like an old friend hasn't seen for a long time. He checked our mood and plans daily - asking how he could help. A fancy tied bandana on his head looks exotic and unusual and it could be a great way to express the character and individuality of people who work and live there. Astin - the lady working in the reception desk - always helpful and nice, gives you the advice of travelling and must see tourist point, arranges the trips and solve many, many problems. Dewi - the waitress in the restaurant - always interested in your day and well-being, willing to help with the dish selections, explains all the local ingredients used in the meals, aware of allergens, skillfully selects substitutes. Nurs - the waiter always greets you with some joke, he has a great sense of humor. A great type of waiter, committed but non-imposing. Awan, Defri, Yayat and many many more.... I don't remember all of their names but they all are great people and they do great job. You can feel as a part of their family. Thanks to this team you can feel like home. Thanks to them The Kayana has the perfect atmosphere. Their features are priceless and all the resorts should look for people like them. Kayana you have THEM - so be aware of this and please take good care of them because they are the best thing you have. Remember it's not the area and facilities that create the perfect stay ( it's secondary) - It's all about the people! I love them all! When reading all of these negative opinions or minuses I don't know what is going on. The towels on the beach could be taken just right from the lobby, which is in front of the beach, the transfer to local Gili Islands was always perfect, the local divers help a lot and let u feel as comfortable in the water as you can. There were no problems at all. Local mosque is a part of their culture and you need to get used it. I regard it as a part of morning relaxation. Kayana is a place with its own spirit. Perfect place to relax. Everything was solved with good conversation. And it's through conversation that you create a memorable relationship between you and them.

To sum up I would definitely recommend The Kayana beach resort as it is a secluded holistic retreat with great and easy access to nearby Gili islands and many other must see points.

Fantastic. Everything was beyond expeditions. Beautiful villas with amazing service. Incredible views, super nice staff and delicious food. Definitely the best option in Senggigi.

What a fabulous stay! Thank you so much to all the staff who ran this place and made our stay so special. Everybody was incredibly kind and they were always so flexible with us. The food was just perfect, the villas were spacious with an open shower (even got upgraded on our arrival), and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The hotel has many activities, we did the gilis with them and it went great. They also took care of renting a scooter for us. You can basically just go there with nothing planned and your eyes closed and they will guarantee you have a great time. It felt like a family, every time we went out they asked about our day and what we had planned. It’s definitely not your typical hotel. They definitely deserve their 5 stars ✨

I stayed here for 1 night with my wife and daughter and really enjoyed our stay there. The house with a private pool was great, very spacious, and a luxurious feel. The restaurant on the cliff provides an amazing view during breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Great resort, all the room types are villas/suites with a small private pool. Got the duplex suite overlooking the ocean with a bathroom bigger than the actual bedroom. Bath tub fits two people easily. Soaps and shampoos from Acca Kappa, so they're not holding out in quality.

The beach is clean and secluded enough, gorgeous view of the Gilis from the hotel, great food (prices comparable to a good Jakarta restaurant or cafe), which is great, because the nearest food delivery is about 10km away. The restaurant itself is located on a hill and you can either climb up the stairs or ask to be picked up by a golf cart/buggy to go there .

Only downside is location. It's at North Lombok, and it's somewhat secluded even though it's right next to a big road. So no convenience store or food delivery for miles. Nearest you can get food delivered is from Senggigi.

Staffs are very friendly as well. And if it's important to you, their Internet connection is super.

Will definitely come again.

The place is really serene and ideal for couples looking to spend their holidays. The villas are beautiful and well maintained. We especially love the breakfast choices.
Staffs are really responsive and make your stay comfortable.

I was in love with this place.
Room was huge, with a private pool, bathtub, and even a make-up room.

Hotel staff are giving their best in serving us. I can't forget Pak Eka, who pick up from the jetty and bring us for a mini tour in lombok. Pak Nursaat serve us very good food at the cafe and even packed our breakfast nicely during the last day because we are in rush to the airport. Pak Wayan, the security lend us his motorbike for us to roam around Lombok.

This hotel is very calm and the beach is as clean as you can imagine. We have our good times here. Love it to the bit. Absolutely will repeat if i ever come to Lombok again.

Recently had a chance to stay at this villa with my husband..and i must say it was beyond my expectations..the staffs were very helpful and kind and well mannered..whatever that needed help,can be sorted out with their advice and help. The rooms were clean,privacy maintained..food at the blues that came with a spectacular view was amazing..overall experience was well worth it and we definitely look forward to visiting again in the future..thank you kayana lombok..
