Thondànur ramanujar temple. The beauty this place can never be explained. Temple is on the top of a rocky hill. Near by there is q waterfall and near to it a big 100ft statue of ramanuja has been established. Very beautiful place. Its not only beautiful its very ancient old temple where ramanuja lived here and preached many disciples. The yoga narashimha in this temple has a dhandam ( stick) it is more than 1000 yrs old. The bag used by ramanuja is cherished here and kept for bhaktas view. A very spiritual place where you can feel the vibration of the holiness.

This is a historical place must visit. The temple and surrounding areas are beautiful.

Here at the temple Saint Ramanujacharya showed his real guise of snake only one time standing next to Narasimha swamy idol. Its an holy land walked by RAMANUJACHARYA. As he is the AVATARA of 7 Headed Snake of lord MAHAVISHNU.
