One of the best Benne Dosa I've ever had. The taste certainly lives up to the expectation!
Service was quick and staff was courteous.
The seating arrangement could have been better. Restaurant owners should consider upgrading the seating plans.

Parking is a challenge, it took us a while before locating a proper parking space for our car.

Absolutely brilliant place! Davangere is famous for its Benne Masala Dosa, and this place serves one of the best ones. Came here from someone's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint us.
The dosas are made on a wood fired pan and with loads of Benne (Butter). Amazing taste, highly highly recommended 👍🏻

I have been to this place thrice and it is definitely the best place to have Benne Dosa. It is the most famous place in Davanagere for Butter Dosa. The taste of the Butter Dosa is consistent always and with that coconut chutney it is amazing. The service is quick and prices are reasonable. Parking space is available opposite to the location.

The best Davengere benne dose I hv ever tasted. Thr taste you get here is no where close to the any other. Only 2 items on the menu no sanbar but it is brilliant. Super quick service. The dose ate made on woodfire which makes a huge difference m the chutney was out of the world. Highly recommend

If you're in Davangere, you cannot miss Benne Dosa for which this city is famous.
Though having this for breakfast is not an ideal option given the loads of butter the dosa is loathed with.

You have to try it once to experience the warm and fuzzy feeling this butter dosa gives with a side of aloo palya dipped with coconut chutney.

Benne (Butter) dosa is very good. Chutney is spicy, Single dosa is 50/-. Parking space available on the street. This is opposite to the JJM Medical College.

Visited this place in Davanagere which is very famous for benne dosa. As expected, dosa was very tasty. It was loaded with butter. Bit crispy on the outside and moist inside. By far this is the most tasty benne dosa I tasted till now. They prepare dosa on wood fire. Loni or butter is sprinkled twice in typical Davanagere style.
Potato they serve along with dosa was with minimal spice and no termeric at all unlike we get it in different parts of the country.
Chutney served with dosa was very tasty which had spicy aftertaste which was there in the mouth for some time.

Have been coming here since the last 7 years at least and have found the same amazing consistent taste and quality. The dosa is both crispy on the surface and spongy inside, laden with butter. They serve this with a tasty coconut chutney and flavourful mashed potatoes. Such a simple yet satisfying meal.

Dosa was very good with spicy chutney… Recommend everyone to try this place in front of bapuji dental college … Must try….
They have ample seating arrangements… and excellent service from the staff… they keep cleaning the tables…

The Benne Dosa was very good and they were very quick in serving as well. The number of tables are very less but we were able to get a seat when we went. The Chutney was little spicy and the Aloo Masala didn't have any spice in it. The combination of Benne Dosa, Chutney and Aloo Masala would be good.

The original place which started with Benne Dosa, the real star is the spicy chutney which is available on request, very satisfying meal!

We decided to eat while standing..

One plate Benne Dose costs ₹100 ..it contains two dose. Chutney is also good.
Only Dose served ( no coffee or tea)

Seems the family has separated & two shops with the same name next to each other.

one claims old and other new..but looks both serve with the same taste!
