Came all the way from Belagavi just to eat Benne Dosa. It was just as I imagined, superb taste. I would visit here again and again no matter the Distance...

Best benne dosa in davangere, red chutney is worth trying and there is usually a wait of about 5-10mins here.

Any given day, I would rate this place above the Guru Kottureshwara hotel and Old Sagar hotel. I like the other two places as well.

They use white butter and the dosaes taste a little better than the other two famous places for the crepes in the town. They have been here for decades and if I am not wrong, they belong to the very clan that pioneered the benne dosae culture, though there are 2-3 strong contenders from the same claim.

These guys serve red and white chutney on alternate days. I believe that the 20rs extra you shell out for their dosaes is worth it for the white butter and better chutney.

The place is too small and at times, you might have to wait to get a seat or eat standing. But who complains? The taste and the quality of the food they serve makes up for the lack of ambience.

Dosa is very good. Not very spicy. All can eat easily small children and aged person can eat easily. So i am giving 5 star ratings

Having Davanagere Benne Dosa in Davanagere is just an unreal experience. Loved it so much that we had to order another. Totally worth the calories for sure!

My favourite place for Davangere benne dose in DAVANAGERE city. This dose shop is in the name of the owner Ravi and they are in this business from generations. Usually there will be a lot of crowd in the morning for breakfast and in weekends it will be much more and have to wait atleast for 30 mins.
Owner is bit rude and not at all customer friendly, just for the dose taste you have to ber him.
Doses are prepared using soude and there benne will be fresh which is used for preparation.
Benne dose, Khali dose are the more famous and widely ordered.
Few seatings is available but with no fresh air, it's better to stand outside and enjoy bisi dose.

One of the best dosa, searched this place from Google reviews and got there. Place gets crowded at times. Must try if u visit Davangere. There is very limited space / sitting . Better to eat the dosa standing and looking at how he makes them . 😋 and for sure , the way it's made , will make u order one more.

If you are in Davengere you must try this place. Davengere is known for its Benne Dosa which means Dosa made with lot of butter.

Davengere has got many small eatery places which serves Benne dosa but, this place is exceptional among all of it. We never miss an opportunity to stop by while we are on Pune - Bangalore highway road. Though this outlet is inside the city we do make an effort to visit this place. Challenge we mostly face is they are open only for limited hours. It’s properly mapped over google maps.

This place is pretty small, but they have got good quality food and the place is quite cleanly maintained.

The preparation of dosa is very unique here, they have those olden days stove, which uses coconut shell and wooden logs to heat up the stove.

They just got two dosas one is benne and the other one is khali which is plain dosa. I would recommend benne dosa.

Wowe butter dose at its best. Its a very small place. Only firewood to used to roast the dosa that give a unique taste.

Amazing authentic benne dosas, really appreciate the quality.. highly recommended to enjoy benne dosa.

There is usually parking available in front of shop but expect it to be quite crowded.especially with pandemic situations it becomes very tricky to avoid crowd in this small place.

Though red chutney is something I usually struggle to enjoy unlike usual chutneys available in other benne dosa hotels..

Ravi benne Dose hotel is the best place for benne and Kali dose in davangere. He has a different timing dosas available only from 8 am to 11am and evening 5 to 7 pm and if the day was crowded he will close earlier. The khara chutney , allo palya and dose combination is amazing. Do not miss this place

Authentic Davangere benne dose prepared on firewood Tawa. You will definitely be mesmerized by the soft puffed dosa in combination with melting soft aloo palya and extremely spicy chutney.

Benne dose and Khali dose are the two available options and I would strongly recommend benne dose if you want to taste the best.

There is very little seating available so be prepared to have you dose in standing by the roadside. Suggest to give a visit on weekdays to avoid the crowd.

Google please give me an additional star. 5 is not enough. This place is foodie heaven. Go for homemade butter (white makhhan) benne dosa. It's soaked in makhan and is super crispy.
Went on a Sunday hence extremely busy. Waited for over 30 mins but totally worth the wait. Initially the guy seemed rude as he was busy but soon he got friendly and offered us special benne dosa with podi. MUST VISIT FOR BREAKFAST

One of the best dose in town. Best time to visit is weekday mornings. You are not supposed to go here on a weekend with an empty stomach and get your dose served right away. There is at least 30 minutes of waiting time.

It is one of the oldest and one of the famous place for the Davangere Benne Dosa. If you are in Davangere for the first time, this place should be on your list definitely.
The place is very small, very limited seating. There is extended seating inside or upper side but there's very little ventilation and I would suggest not to opt it. Usually there's a little wait for the dish to be served but it's really cool to take the plate in hand, sit on bike or in car and enjoy the Dosa.
Coming to food, their Benne Dosa has no beat. If you are having it for the first time, I guarantee single plate will be insufficient. Cost wise it's not heavy on pocket. But worth whatever you pay.

The benne dose is awesome here.... The crispy dosas will melt when it enters your mouth.... It has amazing aroma.... This is the speciality of Davanagere.... Visit DVG only to have this savour dish.... Yummy yummiesss

One of the best ever Benne Dose eaten in entire lifetime.its expensive (Rs 80 per plate on 2019) compared to Big hotels but it's worth it.

Amazing crisp dosas.. not for the calorie counters.. the dosas are literally deep fried in butter!
