The Mangifera, Bandipur

A great place to get away for a weekend with friends or family if you're located in mysore or bengaluru. This is a small resort with a single block divided into 5 rooms. We took the deluxe and executive rooms - each had a nice sit out and a huge bathroom. The food was very homely and nice. Service staff was very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Vimal who took care of all our requirements and also helped us with suggestions for things to do around.

The resort is super comfortable and in an ideal location for bird watching and visiting the Bandipur safari. The staff is super helpful and very attentive, with special mention to Vimal, the treatment has been great and very good. We were very pleased with our stay.

I stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant experience. The property is conveniently located just a few meters away from the Bandipur Safari Point. The setting is lovely, surrounded by trees and farmlands. Within the property, there are numerous fruit trees including mango, breadfruit, cherry, guava, and custard apple, though there is no designated pathway to walk amidst these plantations.

The rooms are spacious and clean. With the cool weather, we didn't need to use the air conditioner. However, the rooms lack a work table and only have a small closet. They could benefit from some modernization. There are only five rooms at the resort, so privacy is guaranteed.

The staff is extremely polite and humble, helping us with everything we needed, from arranging a candlelight dinner to assisting with our car breakdown on the day of checkout. The food at the resort is really good, with a homely taste and generous portions. Shoutout to Vimal (Manager), Bala (Chef), Shanthanu (Caretaker) and Santosh (Caretaker) for all the efforts.

The pricing of the resort is on the higher side, likely due to the location and maintenance. This was the only downside, though the pricing is more reasonable on weekdays.

Beautiful, remote resort. Gorgeous gardens in a peaceful scenic location. Spacious clean rooms and comfortable beds. Added bonus was a swimming pool.

It’s only 10 minute walk from the Safari pickup point. Staff are really helpful and the manager can help you with your travel plans. Extremely remote location so only option is to eat in the resort which is quite expensive

We as a family of 10 adults/kids stayed last week at Mangifera. It’s one of the finest properties that we ever stayed. Large well maintained garden space for the kids to play, neat rooms, a beautiful swimming room, lot of indoor and outdoor seating spaces and quite a few activities like TT. The food was just awesome and breakfast spread was amazing. Our lunch and Dinner buffets were really tasty and had a homely touch.

The safari point is about 200 mts from the resort.

The other highlight was the staff…Vimal, Shantanu and all the others were always ready to help with a smile and super friendly.

Highly recommend and we are for sure going back.

What a place!!! Clean, big rooms, lush green outdoors, amazing food, accomodating staff, clean swimming pool, bonfire, lots of fruit trees, right on the main road, 500 mts from Bandipur Ticket counter, very close to Safari entry (you can drive in the evening to jungle)....
Will surely return with a group...book well in advance, as there are only 5 well appointed rooms!!!

One of our go to place especially when we do safaris ! Great quaint spot and very boutique. Food is also amazing and customised to your requirements .

Had been here for lunch and it was a very delightful experience. Special thanks to Sanjay sir for his wonderful hospitality & the head chef for the amazing lunch. The resort is well maintained and offers you a very personalised experience having limited rooms. I would definitely recommend this place a visit since it’s the best there is near Bandipur National Park.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, The Mangifera, Bandipur offers a place to relax and rejuvenate. With a wide expanse of lush greenery, it is the ideal place to spend quality time with your family including your fur babies. A courteous staff always present to aid you and take care of your needs adds to the beauty of this place. The chef and housekeeping staff did a spectacular job to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A special mention to Shantanu and Sneha who made last minute arrangements for our anniversary cake. While the place is apt for a family vacation, the pricing could be looked into as we did feel that it is quite overpriced for the facilities provided. The Bandipur safari booking counters are within reach and this makes it convenient for tourists to make timely bookings. Overall, a fantastic stay is what Mangifera promises.

A very quite and serene place.. not very crowded and gives you an exclusive experience. Food though a bit pricy is extremely good. The manager was helpful in getting a seats for the safari as well. Pool is an added advantage.

Really nice place located 4 hours away from Blore. Super pretty and well maintained property. The staff in particular is really sweet. The food was great too. Mr. Vimal ensured we had a very pleasant stay. Totally recommend Mangifera!

We stayed in this beautiful property for two days, with the intention to spend time with family.. the property is perfect for that.. cozy private villa type room with lawn view, a sit out area and huge bathroom..

Satisfactory feeling is majorly from services of the support staff, Prema, Bala, shanthanu , sourav and other tall guy ( we donno the name), they made us feel like home.

My husband suggested Mangifera as his first choice for our honeymoon stay as he had already been there once and couldn’t stop raving about the place. True to his word, it was a quaint and quiet place filled with greenery and fruit trees, a perfect place to relax and feel refreshed. But what was even more special about this place were their staff. We had planned for a jeep safari as part of our honeymoon experience but were unable to book it due to high demand and when we told Sanjay about it he immediately made a few calls and managed to get us a jeep for the next day. And the cherry on the cake is that we spotted a tiger on my first safari! 😇

On our last night at the resort someone knocked on our door before dinner and said they had a surprise for us across the lawn. We were asked to have our eyes closed till we reached the spot where they had a table decked up under a tree all perfectly set for a romantic candlelight dinner. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! We will always remember it :) We want to appreciate and thank Sanjay, Manu, Chef Bala & his wife for going out of the way to make our time here so comfortable and special. Our stay at Mangifera Bandipur was amazing. It was a beautiful stay and amazing staff service. Vimal, Prema , Bala and Sneha were really polite and checked upon us if we needed anything. Will definitely recommend this place.

We recently visited Mangifera for a quick staycation to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary with our 8 year daughter and 1 year old fur child. Found the place randomly while searching for pet friendly places close to Bangalore, and Mangifera turned out to be a hidden gem!

The place itself was beautiful, well maintained, private and serene. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

They have only 5 villas so it's best to reserve in advance especially if you are travelling with a bigger group.

What stood out for us was the Amazing service by Sanjay and his entire team. They catered to our every need, anytime day or night. We also enjoyed every meal prepared by the Chef who would come to our room and take our order, only to ensure personalized service and hot delicious food ready to be devoured by the time we stepped into the dining area.

My daughter especially enjoyed the pool, the badminton and other kid friendly activities they have. My dog got his first experience with rabbits which was fun for him but not for the poor creatures 😉.

We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mangifera and it was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere embraced me, setting the tone for a perfect getaway. The staff was also friendly and checked on us at what time we were reaching so that they could read our room. What truly sets the place apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Special mention to Mr Sanjay who is always available to answer any of your queries and go out of his way to make your stay pleasant. We traveled with our pet ( cat) and I was surprised to even see what a blast our pet had :) The rooms are artsy and tastefully designed. The open balcony with covered glass is beautifully done. The combination of stunning surroundings, impeccable accommodations, outstanding service, and exquisite dining made for an unforgettable experience.
