Divine, holy and serenity. I was blown away with the holiness of the place and I spent a beautiful time just sitting and meditating on the staircases of the lake. If you are at Pushkar, do visit this without thinking twice.

An absolute gem near my home! This place is my go-to for beating boredom and finding tranquility. The serene lake view adds to the peaceful ambiance. A perfect spot to unwind and recharge.

The best of pushkar is its Pushkar lake .such a beautiful place with large no. Of ghats . I spent my whole evening just sitting quietly on one the ghats called Badri ghat. It was soul soothing to just spend time with yourself.

A city near Ajmer City is Pushkar. Pushkar is situated on the shore of Pushkar Lake, which has numerous ghats where pilgrims bathe. Pushkar has many temples. The majority of Pushkar's temples and ghats date back to the 18th century.

This is one of the divine attraction of pushkar. especially during evenings aarti, music and spiritual vibrations around this place is amazing.

perfect go to place near jaipur. 2hour from jaipur. street market, food, ambiance and vibes what a combination. on a particular time on the brhamghat one side last rites were performed and another site there is a mundan of a kid. lovely

Lovely holy lake. Breathtaking views and many ghats. You can take a bath before going to brahma temple. Ghats are very slippery. Be careful.

I really love the view of Pushkar Sarover.
Mandir darsan was great, their is no difficulty while visiting the Mandir.
Camara are not allowed inside the Mandir.
From Mandir to Sarover, both are close to each other.
Aarti time start from 6:00 pm.
Present in the Aarti was a great experience.

It is a sacred lake located in Pushkar, Rajasthan. Puskar Lake is a holy site for Sanatani (Hindus), and it was created by the tears of Lord Shiva. Puskar Lake is surrounded by around 52 bathing ghats. There are a lot of things that you can do here, like sitting alone, feeding fish and birds, meditation, taking bath in the lake, clicking beautiful pictures, and so on.

First of all Avoid Any Pooja Offered for free 10 / 20 / 50 Rupees Its a scam and force you to pay high amount.
Pushkar lake is a wonderful place. Its a religious & historical place. A beautiful lake with fishes and great local market where you can eat rajasthani food, buy rajasthani local item dress, accessories. There is lots of Italian restaurant as well near pushkar lake.

Best thing to visit in Pushkar. Near Sunset cafe . . Best to visit is near Sunset. You can awesome view of sunset. Lake is full of fishes ducks cranes ... Very spiritual feeling... Don't miss at any cost.

Lake looks beutiful but not clean for some reasons. People take "holy bath" here before visiting the "only temple of Bhagwan Bhrahma Ji and Mata Gayatri Devi ji".

Peace, coming to the ghats of Pushkar. Taking a holy dip and praying to almighty, what else a proud hindu requires.

Two Points to be careful below:

Please be informed wearing footwear is strictly not allowed on the ghats, hence avoid wearing them.

Water is covered with green algae on the stairs, please avoid directly stepping into the water, use a rope.

Evening Aarti, free fire shows (By a group of foreigners), parikrama of the ghat and at the end sitting at the ghats.

Pushkar is once in a lifetime visit, being Hindu and sanatani🛕🚩

A very good place for devotees to offer prayers, especially on Kartik Poornima. Kund has cold water. Female changing room is there although congested one. Good for chanting.

Legend has it that a lotus fell from the hands of Lord Brahma, the god of creation, and Pushkar Lake was born, making it as old as creation itself. Hindu mythology speaks about Panch Sarovars (Five Lakes) – Man Sarovar, Bindu Sarovar, Narayan Sarovar, Pampa Sarovar and Pushkar Sarovar, of which, Pushkar Lake is considered to be the most sacred. Devotees believe that bathing in the waters of the lake on Kartik Poornima (during the Pushkar Fair) will nullify sins and cure all skin diseases. This lake lies nestled in the folds of the Aravalli range, surrounded by a desert and hills on all sides. The lake has 52 bathing ghats (steps leading into the water) and the water around each ghat is believed to possess special medicinal powers. The Pushkar Lake is a popular destination for pilgrims, as evidenced by the over 500 temples that dot the banks of the lake.

Do not fall into the trap of Pind Daan here, they have their Amount card for Donation, you won't be able to say No after you have agreed for Pind Daan.
