Shri Siddalingeshwara Swamy Temple (Yedeyuru)

We arrived at the temple around 7 am & there were already many devoted people joined. The morning weather was so calm and serene & I found a lot of inner peace. The most amazing thing is the beautiful Gopura at the entrance. You're going to love your visit to this well-kept temple. You'll definitely leave this temple with a great, positive feeling! you can stay at a nearby lodge & the whole area is well-maintained. It's a truly peaceful spot you definitely shouldn't miss & it's about 90 kms from Bangalore. The people taking care of it have put in a lot of effort to make it a lovely place.

We had been to Sri yedeyur siddalingeshwara temple on a Saturday at around 4.30 pm. We had darshana in 5 minutes. On Sundays the temple is very crowded and you might have to wait for long in the queue.

The temple premises is very well maintained. Ample parking space is available.Parking fee for four wheeler is 20 rupees.

Visited the temple 🛕 on the Sunday morning with family, temple is really peaceful and well maintained, ample parking space is available. We visited here from Bengaluru, took us about 2 and half hours to reach here.

The Gopura is really beautiful with colourful paintings depicting the life of Siddhalingeshwara.

Tip: Try to reach the temple before 10am, there won’t be any wait time. If you reach here after 10, the wait time increases.

We have been devoted followers of Lord Swamy Siddalingeshwara since our ancestors' time. We visit this temple on various occasions to seek his blessings. The temple is impeccably maintained, spacious, and offers a serene atmosphere. However, there have been instances of rudeness from the security guards who, seemingly, lack proper training and appear to be locals. Their dominating behavior has left me somewhat disheartened during my visits to this temple.

Nice temple , designated parking space for 4 wheeler was available. So it was easy to commute and enter the temple

Very big temple with Anna dasoha and there is also elephant to entertain devotees and there is also a horse ride for the people who visit the temple.its very spacious well organised near and tidy

A temple that’s close to my heart… the pooja was done beautifully, I felt at peace. Dasoha food was good… However the caterers can serve with love/ smile- would be nice

Peaceful place ,a very well maintained temple. Buses r easily available to this place also der I'd plenty of place for private vehicles parking. Temple closes at 12:45pm and reopen at 1:30 pm . They serve prasada everyday just beside the temple anna dhasoha is available where food is served.

Good place to visit ,Morning to evening you can get darshan. One of the good place to visit . There is a historical story of the god and there is true rituals if the god. Nice parking atea available. Weekends and holidays little rush. There is also water to play near to temple. Dont miss the place and enjoy and must visit place

Crowded temple but the spiritual experience is excellent. Spent few hours and had the temple lunch (prasada).

It’s a Shiva temple and it’s a huge complex. Yediyur is an important pilgrimage town for Lingayat community but visited by others too. New structure is built in front of the original small temple. Many marriage/convention halls are there in the vicinity of the temple. Lot of visitors were found during our visit when we had gone there to attend a wedding in Yediyur. Good maintenance of the temple premises and the surroundings.

Place is very beautiful,lord Veerabadra swamy and Badrakalam is also there.

You will be having prasada behind temple, if you ask they will help you.

Sri Siddalingeshwara Swamy Shrine is a very famous Lingayat pilgrimage centre situated in Yediyuru Village, Kunigal Town of Karnataka State in India. A religious place to find inner peace and relaxation in the form of Divinity. A very huge place for parking. Located in the close proximity to Hassan highway.
Temple Opening :Daily 4:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

The temple is very serene. It has a big parking space and there is no waiting time to go inside the temple.
